Same issue here as kalamaja's post (October 18th).
Running 7.12.1, latest radio firmware. With PIN on, LTE is functional only after disable & enable the interface.
Solved with disabling PIN from SIM card.

I bet hap ac3, with WifiWave2 drivers, would perform closer to your expectations - you could test it briefly as a stand-alone unit.
BTW, what is your ISP speed? To understand what that 50% is really about..

Re: Audience features [SOLVED]

No, you cannot. Wlan3 is usable only with that frequency range. In a topic somewhere in here, someone stated that even if you could bypass this limitation via software, there's also some-sort of a hardware lock. So, for channel 36, use wlan2.

Re: hAP AC2, cAP AC, CAPsMAN and Google Smart Home

May I suggest moving all those Google devices to the 2.4 GHz network and see if they manifest the same similar problem?
After all, I think that 2.4 GHz offers enough bandwidth for what they need/offer and I've seen many cases of Google Home devices having issues with 5GHz networks.

You are running 5765 Ceee, this is wrong, should be 5745 Ceee or 5765 eCee heidarren , could you please direct me to some sources on how to choose correctly the Ceee...eeeC for each channel? Or maybe there's a table of correct association.. In OPs situation, he defaulted this settings to XXXX and r...

Re: Query about 5GHz maximum speed RBD52G-5HacD2HnD [SOLVED]

With the current configuration of my hap ac2 (rather standard), with an iPhone i can reach an average of 350-400 Mbps in iperf, with PC set as server. With Android phones around 300 and with laptop with Intel Wifi card no more than 250. All those values are tests done in the same room with hap. Some...

Re: Collecting daily/monthly usage stats?

Somehow related to the original post, I discovered that adding registered devices to IP/Kid Control, offers some stats (bytes up/down, rates up/down) about each device activity, stats that are still there after a reboot. Stats can be reset manually via Reset Counter button. In a relatively stable en...

Re: hAP AC2 Smart TV issues

It's not entirely related to mikrotik if playing from laptop, connected to hap ac2 I assume, there us no problem with the 2 programs. Probably the problem is somewhere in the middle  When the error pops up, look for anything in the bottom right hand corner such as tvq-pm-100, or tvq-pb-103, ui-...

AMSDU 3839 for both, 802.11b/g/n for 2.4GHz and 802.11a/n/ac for 5GHz, basic rates 12mbps and 24mbps, supported rates from 12mbps to 54mbps heidarren , with your recommended setup, throughput on 5GHz wlan is quite good, around 330-350 Mbps. However, the TV cannot connect, although reported signal i...

Re: please help configuring a hap ac2

hey anav ! thanks for the advice! TBH, i had previously watched that presentation on YouTube and bookmarked it as it had some pretty interesting information, at least for the novice of me. ATM both wlan are on US, indoor, 3dbi antenna gain and coverage is pretty ok. I've done some iperf3 test with a...

Re: please help configuring a hap ac2

I've borrowed an Audience from a friend - the signal is clearly better. TV reports full signal on 2.4GHz (while on hap ac2 was showing @~50%) and a better signal for the supported 5GHz wlan. I've entered the same values as you advised with hap ac2 and the TV doesn't go above 33mbps DL (same value as...

I'm on 6.46.4 and I can't say I really had a problem with this build - but I'll try to downgrade to longterm build. I've modified the setup as you said but no improvements. In room marked as 3, signal is very ok, even for 5GHz wlan (can reach 200-230 Mbps) however in room 2, the TV that is installed...

please help configuring a hap ac2

Some 2-3 months ago I bought my first Mikrotik device - the hap ac2, previously owning an Asus RT-AC87u. Networking wise, despite of browsing this forum and watching Youtube videos, I'd still rate myself as a noob but willing to learn so.. have mercy :) From my ISP i have a 500Mbps/25Mbps connection...

Actually ARM and 802.11ac stability issues should be solved in the latest Betas (see changelogs) At this moment, between 6.47b19 and 7.0b4, which version would offer better wifi results for an Audience ? My Audience, on 6.46.3, has fluctuating speeds on 5GHz and, even in the best scenario, it never...

If you want to have seamless wireless coverage, then both APs should be in same IP network. If you're using one of them as gateway to internet, then the other one (connected to first one's LAN side) should only bridge wireless and ethernet interfaces, without any other functions whatsoever (routing...

[noob inside] "pairing" hap ac2 + ac lite [SOLVED]

Hi guys! At the well-intended advice of a friend, I've started my mikrotik affair with an hap ac2. Clearly, as I see it, it's not a noob-friendly equipment but i managed to have it working ok - probably i'm using @ <10% of what it could do in professional hands but.. Now, it seems that the overall c...
