Re: Feature Request - Name Ports

+1
This is "MUST BE" feature. Faster response on SNMP is also important.

Re: CRS118-16G-2S-P-OUT

Or maybe some hardware to expand CRS functionality?

CRS118-16G-2S-P-OUT

Hello MT Team :) would be great to have finally complete unit on towers, right? Minimum 10 GigE ports with PoE with Air+ESD protection + min. 2 SFP ports, small board wersion or in a sealed metal housing. I wait for it for years! I can use ToughSwitch but... it could be best if rOS was inside! Regar...

Qualcomm Atheros is ready?

Qualcomm Atheros have QCA9890 3x3 and QCA9892 2x2 802.11ac chipsets and "Qualcomm Atheros is sampling its 802.11ac chips to customers in the second quarter of 2012...".

So... when we should have info from MT team about compatibility & new cards from Mikrotik?

Re: 802.11ac

Normis, with care and experience do not even ask about the date of 802.11ac support. I do not even ask about the new cards with these chips. But maybe even a shadow of hope? Q1 2013 is possible?

802.11ac

Hi all,

is MikroTik already testing samples of 802.11ac chips from Qualcom Atheros QCA9880 3x3 and QCA9882 2x2 chips for 802.11ac/a/b/g/n, QCA9890 3x3 and QCA9892 2x2 chips for 802.11ac/a/b/g/n (enhanced in-building location and spectral sensing capabilities)?

Re: R52Hn squeak

It's power source based, just try to change your power adapter for another one.
We tried multiple power supplies before I wrote this post. Do you have any experience with such sound effects? Mainly we use the buffer power supply (high stability, large power and function of the UPS, of course).

Re: Hot new Mikrotik Radio Card - R52Hn

I've noticed one fundamental thing right now: if you don't need 'N' R5H is better solution than R5Hn. We have right now many working links at R5H on both side. Antennas have VSWR below 1:1,14 & RX/TX are not less 58,5 Mbps, distances: 0,8 - 4 km.

R52Hn...

Hello, after several weeks of testing R52Hn noticed the following things: 1) after changing from R52: improve the sensitivity, 2) after changing from R5H: similar sensitivity (unchanged) 3) what's interesting: customers with the signal at level of -75 or worse, do not hold online (using a WinBox = d...

R52Hn squeak

Hello. I observed a problem with the work R52Hn - after mounting it in the RB433 or RB600 or RB433AH you can hear the quiet or loud squeak. This occurs only if R52Hn will be mounted on routerboard. What is important: RB is grounded, and power comes from the buffer power supply 24V / 55W. Has anyone ...

Re: Hot new Mikrotik Radio Card - R52Hn

Hello, just RB800+RB604 + 3x R52Hn in test (exchange from UB5). First look? Cards not recognized. After soft reboot - ok, but at booting time there are about 16-17 beeps. Power outage = cards not recognized. Again soft reboot - OK. Anyone have this issue? But cards are MUCH BETTER than UB5. I will e...

The Dude on Windows 2000 vs. Windows XP SP3

(The Dude v3.5) I'm trying to solve problem: on Windows 2000 Professional (intel motehrboard with intel's LAN 10/100) there is no problem with SNMP and 'signalling speed', on Windows XP SP3 (intel motherboard D510MO) I have problems with signalling 'CPU offline' and different SNMP signalling (orange...

Re: New Routerboard RB/800 is coming

On RB600 I had 3.30, on RB800 4.3 is working now.

P.S. On RB800 i have fake voltage measurement: 30,1 V while real voltage on power supply is 27,5 V. This issue we have on RB411AH too. But only when using PoE.

Re: New Routerboard RB/800 is coming

First test of RB800 = replacing old RB600+RB604 (8 mPCI modules). Effect? Problems with signal quality, stability of links. Signal's strengh not changed. Any idea? Is RB800 making any RF problems?
