16MB FLASH?!........................................ FACEPALM If they make RouterOS larger than 16 megabyte what happens to backwards compatability, it goes out the window. That would be [emoji1751][emoji1751]‍[emoji3601][emoji1751]‍[emoji3603] My guess is they would continue to use same concept th...

Re: RBLHGR with gigabit Ethernet

There is a LM960 modem sitting on my table, waiting for capable LTE dish/router to be placed in. Perhaps, I will try out one of the NetMetal devices, but I don't need WiFi capability, just a good LTE dish/antenna/router for outdoor mounting.

Re: RBLHGR with gigabit Ethernet

Yea, there seem to be many more modem options with M.2 slot than mPCIE, when it comes to latest and greatest modems.

Re: wAP LTE and LHG LTE - Very bad LTE performance

@eworm, thank you for making the modem firmware upgrade script. It seems to work, but looks like my modem has some kind of issue. I executed your script twice. Hopefully, this info can shed some light into why R11e-LTE-US modem is not upgrading. # Time Buffer Topics Message 155 Jan/29/2020 11:36:34 ...

Re: Future of LTE products, user feedback requested

We need LHGR + R11e-LTE6 with 1GbE port - currently even SXTR with bonding at 2xFE have a bottleneck to FE at CPU :( 2CA for 1+3 and 1+7 and 3+7 - currently only 3+7 :( LGHR with corrected 700 and 900Mhz Gain - currently works better with inverted antenna at 180°. Only 800Mhz works straight forward...

Re: LTE Band Selection and IMEI

#2 Generally you have to use a pre-activated SIM. The modem needs to be certified for use with the carrier and the IMEI has to be loaded into the carrier database to qualify for activation. In most cases you cannot activate a new line of service with the modem IMEI. Many use a Cradlepoint or Pepwav...

Re: Mikrotik LTE

You can Try to point another relay antenna, LHG LTE is one of the best antennas I know (I already hooked up a relay antenna at 21 km: speed 8 Mbs down / 1 Mbs up) Yep, LHG LTE seems to be one of the best antennas currently available on the market. I just wish the antenna fins were in the front and ...

Re: Creating a 4g LTE WISP... in need of advice

Have you tried switching bands to increase speeds? Not sure that functionality is offered in US version of CAT4 modem that is included with LHG R. But the modem seems to do that from time to time and I do get higher speeds at that time. There are many many trees in between the tower and my location...

Re: Creating a 4g LTE WISP... in need of advice

I live in rural California and was paying $92 per month for 6 Mbps down and 1.3 Mbps to a local WISP. Did that for about 3 years. Switched to using Mikrotik LHG LTE kit-US for about a 6 weeks ago with AT&T. Getting about 15 Mbps, up and down. For dual WAN/failover/backup with Verizon, will get SXT o...

Re: R11e-LTE-US help

Good morning y'll, at least it is in California. Well it is actually raining hard. I have been testing MikroTik LHG R with R11e-LTE-US for two weeks now and have been reading these forums for about that long as well. As well as Reddit.com/r/mikrotik. Has anyone been able to update the R11e-LTE-US fi...
