Re: RX Overruns with SwOS 2.13

It seems I can reproduce the issue: Only when 10Mbit/s or 100Mbit/s Clients are connected to my CRS305-1G-4S+ switch, the switch uplink port counts RX overruns. As soon as I disable the client ports with 10/100 Mbit/s, no RX overruns are shown anymore. This only affects my CRS305-1G-4S+ switch, 10/1...

RX Overruns with SwOS 2.13

Hello, I recognized a counting amount of RX overruns on my CRS305-1G-4S+ switch, using a 10gbps DAC cable: https://abload.de/img/bildschirmfoto2021-0521j9b.png The DAC cable was already replaced but the issue still persists on the same port. Switching the cable to another port also didn't help, the ...

Re: LACP with SwOS not working

Thanks, that was the issue. At least two interfaces are needed to form a LAGG. I know the LACP implementation from other network vendors, where forming an LACP with one link only is no issue. Really bad about the Mikrotik implementation is, that the LACP gets down again when one of two links is fail...

Re: LACP with SwOS not working

Not using any VLANs, no. I wanted to be sure the uplink will remain untagged. The VLAN mode was changed back to the defaults. Since the pfSense is speaking passive LACP only, I configured active LACP on the uplink to the pfSense (2nd screenshot in first post). The MAC of the pfSense is shown there. ...

Re: LACP with SwOS not working

Only for testing, because I wanted to force an untagged uplink. VLAN mode "optional" and VLAN Receive "any" didn't work either.
I just set them back to their defaults, still not working.

Re: LACP with SwOS not working

I'm only testing with one link so far, and this link doesn't work at all. I'm guessing the issue happens because trunk number is shown in the LAG settings for that port.

Is it possible to troubleshoot if the LACP link goes up correctly at the SwOS side?

[SOLVED] LACP with SwOS not working

Solved, the solution: Dynamic LACP needs at least two physical links to form a LAGG via SwOS. An exception might be a static configured LAGG where a trunk is entered manually (Not tested). Important: The LAGG only formed as soon as you see a trunk member number. If this is not the case, your LAGG d...

Re: CRS326 - HW offloading not working?

Thanks a lot for your replies, you helped me really much to get into this.

I'll change my primary routing device to a dedicated pfSense Hardware. The CRS326 will be used only for L2 in future, I'll just forward the VLANs to the firewall.

CRS326 - HW offloading not working?

Hi together, I'm using 1x CRS326-24G-2S+RM as my central routing instance for 3 VLANs. InterVLAN Routing with HW offloading was configured, which worked fine so far. When I upgraded my internet line from 200 Mbps to 1 Gbits, I recognized that a maximum of 500 Mbps are going through. This only happen...

Re: Exclude IPs from NAT rules (DNS redirect)

Thanks for the replies. There should be no problem regarding the different subnets. Each subnet is assigned to a VLAN, where each client is able to communicate with each other. There is a route back to both client subnets, which allows direct communication between the clients and the DNS server. The...

Exclude IPs from NAT rules (DNS redirect)

Hi, I'm trying to configure a DNS redirect for all my client IPs, except a specific IP range. The DNS redirect works fine, but the excluded IP range gets ignored so far. Something seems to be wrong with my config. I tried this with address-lists and with one single IP address, but the result was the...

Re: [Bug?] InterVLAN Routing not working for directly attached Access Ports

Could the issue be, that the routing port (ether8) was added to my Bridge? Should I remove ether8 from the bridge to get routing working? Right now all ports of my switch are inside the same bridge. Edit: Nope, not the issue. Removed ether8 from the bridge, configured the VLAN Tagging directly on et...

Re: [Bug?] InterVLAN Routing not working for directly attached Access Ports

VLAN 10 devices at my SwOS switch are able to communicate with VLAN 10 devices at my CRS210. Inside the LAN every communication works between all VLANs. I rebooted the CRS and factory resetted the config multiple times, with the config posted. When resetting the device, I set the options "No de...

Re: [Bug?] InterVLAN Routing not working for directly attached Access Ports

Thanks for your reply. I'm using three Mikrotik devices in my LAN network, two SwOS switches are part of the same LAN setup. They're connected to the ports sfp1 and sfp2 to my CRS router (mentioned in my first post). The uplink ports are set as trunk ports. The Access ports of my SwOS switches are c...

Re: [Bug?] InterVLAN Routing not working for directly attached Access Ports

After spending more hours (really many now, I'm trying to set this up since a week), I don't know what else to try anymore. When setting an access port to PVID 10, my devices are Layer 2 reachable. The access port configuration on my CRS210 "somewhat works". Just the traffic of directly at...

Re: [Bug?] InterVLAN Routing not working for directly attached Access Ports

Hi, this works. I configured my pfSense with two static routes: - Destination network: 192.168.10.0 /24 Gateway: 192.168.255.2 - Destination network: 192.168.20.0 /24 Gateway: 192.168.255.2 The NAT outbound rules, which were created automatically by pfSense, are working fine. Clients are able to rea...

Re: [Bug?] InterVLAN Routing not working for directly attached Access Ports

Hi, my pfSense doesn't route the VLAN 10 / 20 traffic. All clients behind my SwOS switches, connected via trunk link to my CRS, can successfully reach the pfSense. The pfSense enables internet access to all clients. SwOS clients in VLAN 10 / 20 are able to: - Reach every RouterOS VLAN Interface in V...

[Bug?] InterVLAN Routing not working for directly attached Access Ports

Edit 2: Not solved yet, but my access port config of my CRS seems to be the issue. Could someone please check my config for the issue? Thanks a lot! Edit 1: Added one more device to VLAN 255, which I pinged from VLAN 10 / 20. Same problem. Hi, I spent a few hours to set up InterVLAN Routing between...

Re: CRS1xx/2xx suuuuuuuuuuuuucks. Help with configuring VLANs?

Hi, sadly my post wasn't approved so far, hopefully someone can help me here since I'm facing a similar problem. After creating several VLANs, only one is reachable via IP. Is this an issue because I didn't configure "ingress-vlan-translation" for VLANs 2 and 255? My router should only for...

VLAN configuration between SwOS / RouterOS CRS2xx not working [SOLVED]

Hi, after spending many hours, in which I crashed my home network many times, I need your help. I want to configure one new VLAN in addition to my existing untagged VLAN. Both networks should be able to communicate via InterVLAN Routing through my RouterOS switch. I'm using multiple SwOS switches an...
