please make the support output file before disabling the interface and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also have you checked the periodical-calibration setting.

Do firewall rules disallow SMTP traffic from your MikroTik to your SMTP server?
you can't downgrade the same way as you upgrade. downgrade is a risky process and involves reinstalling
Sounds like somebody installed some package files for the wrong version of the O/S on there. If it boots, go into the files area and remove them.
