I'm hoping to see this as well, it makes sense.so a packege specific to the IPQ4019 without the other stuff would probably fit.
I purchased this as well and 5ghz above channel 100 was semi-broken (super slow), also it didn't have DFS. I went back to using a ea7500 as an AP for my hAP ac2.I purchased other products (eap245)
I didn't know about this, so the old adage is correct.. learn something new everyday. Thanks. But it never hurts to read about partitioning...
Cisco doesn't make devices like the hAP lite or hAP ac² which are not business class devices, or if they do I'm not familiar with them. You can tell that to Cisco. With ALL their wizards for noobs. Right? ;)
It's a good thing you aren't in sales.Sorry, but I use ROS professionally, I don't particularly care about non-proficient users trying to dumb down a power-user's network OS.
There are many options out there for those users.
Part of what makes it so attractive, portability and ease of setup and use.DID you know that WireGuard now runs under Windows 10, macOS, IOS, Android and MANY flavors of Linux

Amazing !!!
Maybe it will be a larger update vs incremental. Is ROS 7 still being developed?, I wonder since there haven't been new betas since February.
He never got the chirping sound. Read carefully.
I took it down to test the power and realized that when the router is normally power cycled it does this series of chirps.
However, my concern is that in other posts, I saw that the "bridge" method ATT offers out of the box forces you to use their small NAT tables on the ATT gateway...is that still the case with this "dumb bridge" method?
The dev stated "just started on revised iPad app" in December, it's not a simple task.I don't want to look impatient but I think this post was 20 of December 2019 and they were working on this already .
Networking must be your favorite hobby? To have an idea of the next level, I configured an 8x 2TB NVMe dual 100G Threadripper 1 box and it comes to about 4500 euro.
Nice comparison, literally lol'dmakes AES-NI look like 'MMX'....
Wireguard is still faster than AES with offload on the same machine, CPU usage is low as well. The situation I could see this being an issue is with a lot of wireguard sessions, for the typical user needs there is no downside. So bye bye all hardware offload.
You could disable the wireless on the Tik and use an external AP, then you have all the great features of RouterOS with wireless that doesn't give you issues.I prefer a plastic toy (Asus, etc ....) as a "professional" MKT device that will not hold the connection.
Wireguard is very simple compared to Ovpn, if I'm not mistaken it's only around 4000 lines of code.+1 for wireguard .
Please don't repeat the way you did with OpenVPN udp
If they make RouterOS larger than 16 megabyte what happens to backwards compatability, it goes out the window. That would be [emoji1751][emoji1751][emoji3601][emoji1751][emoji3603]16MB FLASH?!........................................ FACEPALM
That is certainly a valid use case [emoji6]ISPs have been offering 1Gbps for a long time. SingTel started residential 10Gbps in 2016.
Can you do that?all i can think is replacing the hotspot login page or kind of that
You can run the 7 series testing software from my understanding, which has Ovpn UDP support.Ovpn on Mikrotik is a non starter for connecting to other hardware. Mikrotik's version of OpenVPN is the older TCP protocol. Pretty sure Nord is going to use UDP.
