Re: 802.11n

Does WDS work on ROS4.0 and 802.11n? If not, it will in a future release?

Re: BGP broken in a ring-backbone after 3.18 upgrade

What's new in 3.19: *) fixed BGP route selection in routing-test; I uploaded routing-test (3.19) to all backbone routers two days ago. First it looks like everything works fine, but still having issues: - There are two RB100 that loose all routing table entries, twice per day. - Every 4-5 hours the...

Re: BGP broken in a ring-backbone after 3.18 upgrade

have you noticed problems in previous versions ? None till 3.18, and I had probably all versions starting at 2.9.x can you post a sample config from one router ? Sure. As the network is part of guifi.net, it is a Free Open Network, and basic config for routers is provided by guifi.net's application...

Re: BGP broken in a ring-backbone after 3.18 upgrade

Happy not being alone on that ... Been upgrading all routers to 3.19, but same sh**. My network is in production and I have to be conservative, each test I perform breaks network down, I have to reboot most of the routers, and today users aren't happy at all with the service. I'm getting no BGP mess...

BGP broken in a ring-backbone after 3.18 upgrade

Hi all, Our wireless network has a backbone with 20 routers (RB600 and RB500), 7 of them are the main backbone and perform a ring. They use BGP. Routers had different routerOS versions, starting at 2.9.x till 3.17. Everything has worked OK for a long time. If any of the ring backbone routers had som...

Re: Remote Scan?

I also need this feature, have several CPEs that I want to reassign to a new APs we've set up. I need to make a remote scan to choose the best one to link at.

Is there any way (scripting?) to acomplish this?

Re: Configuring OpenVPN

Did it one the other way around, MT as server and linux as client?

I can open a connection but I can not ping MT and the client doesn't receive an IP from the router.
No, I've just tested MK as client and Linux-box as server. and it works.

Re: Configuring OpenVPN

I'm testing OpenVPN client on a RB133C with v3.0rc6. I know it's a beta, and it's first time I try it. This version is extremely slow, sure it's a bug. It lasts a lot to boot and establish the OpenVPN connection. Each time I enable/disable OpenVPN client, or try to import a certificate, or whatever,...

Prioritize traffic avoiding setting max limits

I have 3 mikrotiks with 40 users that share a 4Mbit DSL internet connection via wireless links. There is no speed limit for users. Users have different link speeds to the mikrotiks, from 1 Mbit to 11Mbit. There's also an internal ftp server. It is possible to set up a simple QoS that JUST PRIORITIZE...
