What is the distance from metal 9HPn AP to client? Is it clear line of sight? Which yagi antenna you are using in client side. Could you name the omni antenna used?

Re: Downgrade to 5.26

From my side i saw security package is utilizing the CPU (in winbox go to tools, profile to see which package is heavy user of CPU).

So I decided to disable security package. (in Winbox go to system, Packages).

That way i solved my problem.

I see now there is F36n-PRO radio card that can go to RB411. I was thinking on using F36n-PRO radio card and RB411 as AP. As from you above post, if the filters are removed can the SXT G-2HnD work in 3.3 - 3.8Ghz frequency?

The PDF brochure says the wireless card in SXT G-2HnD is Onboard dual chain 5GHz 802.11a/n Atheros AR9280 wireless module. So Does this device uses frequency convertor?

What are the frequency ranges?

Re: Omnitik

Hapi NV2 protocol of MT is best as compared to AIROS. I had a site with very high interference where rocket5 with sector of 16db did not manage to connect my Nano CPEs. I used to switch from TDMA to 802 with no success. Later I installed MT with omni of 7.5dbi NV2. The site is very stable for almost...

That is the issue of 4 wheels drive and 2 wheels drive. Everything as got its own purpose. If you need to have external antenna port you can just assemble routerboards to meet your purpose. If you need to install antennas at high tower and you do not what to run cables this product is not for you. J...

Re: OmniTIK and RB711-2n

This is VERY VERY VERY GOOD PRODUCT.

I real need this product to expand my wireless. As the cost suggests, it is nice to use in micro cell - a targeted area. With NV2 and low power the device can be used with solar power that comes with small solar panels.

Mikrotik we trust you! Keep it up!! :D

Re: QoS with a single PPPOE server on MPLS

What is the best practice! is it good to have one PPPOE A/C or each AP should act as PPPOE AC? As I see if you have client looking for tunnel (VPLS) with the two CPEs in the same tower/AP, then by using pppoe the packet have to go to PPOE AC which is wastage of bandwidth. Any idea?
