GPEN11 ethernet pass when powered off

Hi folks, I have a question for those who have tried or somehow know it - does GPEN11 pass traffic when it's not powered by local DC power port? I need exactly such device as GPEN11 but I need it to not pass traffic between IN and OUT ethernet ports when there's no power applied via local DC IN sock...

I’m also on that version. Indeed no reconnects every half a minute, everything else works fine too. I have currently set label refresh time to 0:08, and that graph successfuly displays everything up to 5Gbps. Didn’t try custom probes yet. I’ve heard there are success stories with 64bit counters.

10G vs multiple 1G link aggregation

Greetings, I'm getting to the point where certain 1G circuits are soon not going to be enough, so basically I'd need an upgrade. But CCR1036-12-4S is still quite a powerful machine and is perfectly capable, so I'm at this decision here whether to upgrade the equipment to 10G or use link aggregation ...

You could have said that in the begining :( I've spent an hour or so and thought I was doing something wrong. I haven't got a single AP running in plain 802.11, only in SOHO routers.. So no new function for me :( anyway nice to see something being done.

Sure it can't. As I mentioned above, I had a problem where 6.35rc1 AP with -rep package in NV2 didn't work.
wireless-rep means repeater, yes. it also has a new wireless driver and many other new features, so It can't be placed as default yet.

I can confirm this problem. I had few unexpected hangs and somehow they're always happening on port2 (on 3 different switches). Remote power-cycling via web makes it working again. I seriously doubt that it's related to power shortage, because I run power from 27V 6A PSU, using thick wires and I had...

Re: Backhaul recommendations

For 5 mile link you don't need very powerful equipment. Of course it depends on other factors also, like LoS, but if it's all clear you should probably be enough with a couple of RB711GA's, some high gain directional MIMO antennas and adequate aluminium enclosures.. Not long ago i've established a 3...

Two batteries with 100Ah connected in parallel (you said 12v) makes a total capacity of 200Ah. That is a lot and needs quite serious charging solution. By the rule of 1/10, it'd be like 20A at least. I suggest to go for higher voltage setups. What you need 12v for anyway?
