Re: v7.10, 7.10.1 and more [stable] are released!

Updated a HAP-AX2 from 7.10 to 7.10.2.
A MAP Lite (7.10.1) in station mode sitting right next to the HAP is now reconnecting every couple of minutes.

Re: hAP ax2 repaired router link problem AGAIN

Turns out the problem is not specific to ether3.
Both an Intel I218-V and a Qualcom AR8171 chipset trigger port flapping in combination with the AX2 on all ports.
I have put a simple switch in between for now.

I have not done any testing so far but with the same device and cabling that worked ok before, ether3 on the AX2 seems to have intermittent problems. This is the worst sequence I could find in the logs, most of the time the problem is less severe. apr/16 11:18:36 interface, info ether3 link down apr/...

Re: very high CPU usage after migrating to 7.x

The RB3011 does not work properly with v7.
You can find other threads on the forum with your exact same problem.
Unfortunately there is no eta on a fix from Mikrotik or even an acknowledgement of the issue.
I have given up and retired my RB3011.

I was trying to implement a very simple routing-mark mangle rule and IT. WOULD. NOT. WORK. The packets were getting dropped between prerouting and forward despite a viable route... simples... rp-filter=none... or not. Re: RB3011 / ROS 7.2.1 perfomance issues

I put ports 6-10 in the bridge and deleted the rest. Unfortunately the degraded performance persists. If you need v7 features the RB3011 is just a mess atm. I wish there was a statement from Mikrotik if they even recognize the problem. Will it get fixed? If it will not get fixed why is the unit stil...

Re: RB3011 / ROS 7.2.1 perfomance issues

Yes everyone knows there is a small performance hit for all devices when upgrading to v7.
However there is a massive performance hit when upgrading the RB3011 to v7.
Read the rest of the thread, you picked the one non-relevant answer.

Not fixed in v7.5

Looks like a nice upgrade to the AC2!
The passive POE is a little ugly though... I was hoping Mikrotik was moving away from that.

RB3011 still suffers from a massive performance penalty with v7 compared to v6 (other devices are fine).
Will that ever get fixed?

My recently bought MAP Lite suffers from the same problem, with the Ethernet port dropping down to 10Mbit or failing completely, when the device is stuck on metal.
Bit surprised since it is hardware revision 2 (with factory firmware v6.44.5 from July/2019), which supposedly fixed the issue?

Overlapping subnets between peers on the same interface probably produce conflicts with the protocols "cryptokey-routing" feature.
From my interpretation the allowed addresses are a mix between routing table and acl.
