Re: hap aX3 performance issue?

moreover ( regarding PoE on eth1) when eth1 was set as WAN , all the devices which were connectet to the WiFi via CAP AX3 ( have 3 with CAPSMAN managing them - capsman is on hap AX3) had also this limitation. After switching WAN to ohter port slow internet via CAPs dissapeared. I have such filling t...

Re: hap aX3 performance issue?

thanks will try this out

It may be helpful for others, but i have moved WAN from ether1 to ether5 port
as on ether1 supports PoE in this model ( not sure why Mikrotik moved POE to ether1)and it's implemented on psychical layer, so wanted to exclude this potential issue.

hap aX3 performance issue?

Hi all, I'm having a problem with the hAP ax3, over WiFi I'm able to 'close' my internet connection, and over cable there are computers that can't exceed 200Mbps And strangely enough these are relatively new computers, on older ones the problem does not occur. When testing over LAN, all is well, i.e...

After reboot wireless is in disabled state, when i try to enable it wifi_qcom...

Re: wifiwave2 CAP configuration for CAPsMan

I maight missunderstand how CAP works, but i believe documentation is lacking in details here. As i said this is first time im trying to use this. ( im also quite new to mikrotik devices ) My setup is fairly simple, in my house i have a mikrotik HAP ax3 which is my main router with some VPN , WIFI e...

Re: wifiwave2 CAP configuration for CAPsMan

Thanks for that, will try it out some doubts come to my mind like: if i swap ETH2 as WAN and ETH1 as LAN only, won't i have 2 DHCP servers in my network ? As CAP along with all mikrotik devices by default have DHCPserver on Bridge interface right? I would expect CAPs to have some kind of switch to d...

wifiwave2 CAP configuration for CAPsMan

Hello everyone, I,m trying to extend my WIFI coverage by adding a CAP ( CAP ax3 device) and facing a silly issue. ( configured CAPSMAN but issue is not with capsman itself ). Issue is that by default ETH1 is a WAN interface, not a LAN/Bridge interface. Is there any command to switch MODE on the CAP ...

Wifi Wave2 on RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD

According to the documentation https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/WifiWave2 As of the release of RouterOS 7.1 the 2.4GHz wireless interface on the RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD is not compatible with the wifiwave2 package. Anybody knows if 2.4GHz interface will be supported in any future releases? Or ...

Re: RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN: 5 GHz "initializing"

Hi, i'm facing same issue with my RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD (noticed it after ugprade to 6.46.4.) Have any one raised support ticket for this issue ? If it's not working on all firmware versions, then probably it's a hardware issue. Can we get a replacement from MikroTik? Is there any official communicati...

Re: v6.46.4 [stable] is released!

After upgrading my RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD to 6.46.4
5GHz WiFi stopped working, it keeps getting stuck while Initializing the interface.
Reseting interface configuration does not help
Anyone aware if it's a bug in software? or it's a hardware issue ?
