Mangle traffic on VLAN which is slave of Bonding Interface

We have some CCR's which are using bonding interfaces and vlans to connect to the upstream provider, when we try to create a mangle rule to match outgoing traffic on the vlan facing the upstream provider (NBNCo) we can't match any packets no matter what we try. We have tried using the bonding interf...

Re: v6.19rc for CCR tests needed!

On CCR when you disable an ethernet interface and then reboot the router the interface becomes enabled when it restarts even though it shows as greyed out in winbox like it is disabled, this is a problem if you have 1000 PPPOE sessions coming in all at the same time after a reboot, if you disable an...

Re: hotspot with freeradius on mysql - rx/tx settings

I am assuming that you are using Mikrotik for the hotspots ?
You can only set a maximum session time with usermanager, radius does not have an attribute that will support that feature, you have to run scripts and reset the remaining time yourself.

Nice idea, might be a bit hard to tidy it up more though, have a look at the attributes you can pull from radius, you might find something there which is useful as well to help with this, I will have a think about it as well and see if I can think of any shortcuts.

Re: SMS integration with user manager

It's all achievable if you can work with PHP or Perl, and really wouldn't be a huge amount of code.

It would be even easier if you were just using Freeradius as the backend with MySQL, but using the API should allow you to gain access to usermanager that way and do what you need to do.

I don't believe you can change the usermanager pages at all, you could get the HTML code and re-craft a new page that looked similar I suppose, but you would have to run it on an external webserver which might not work as expected though.

Usermanager won't do this, it simply doesn't have a trigger mechanism. Instead of using a 100ft monitor just create some parent maps and then add groups of maps within it using submaps, then you will know if something below fails and just navigate down to it.

I would be doing this for your discovery as well, it will be a lot easier to maintain and control.
