Re: Usage GPON module SFP in Spain

There have been several reports about new modules with Realtek chips: Ubiquiti UFiber-Instant, V-Solutions - V2801F and many more. I've updated my list of GPON modules. https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=116364&p=771961#p771961 I've been able to make progress with the UFiber-Ins...

Re: Severe port flapping on CRS328-24P-4S+ and CRS317-1G-16S+

We are having massive issues with this. We have replaced the switch reset the config and its still shocking. Its 100% the CRS328's not the CRS317's

We have also changed the optics i dont know how many times tried DAC's its still awful.

Re: LHG 60G experience - MAX DISTANCE?

With rain fade I wouldn’t go any more than 800m on the LHG to LHG Our 1000m is dead as soon as you get a downpour I've seen max distance specs on the products and testing for WAP60 to WAP60 and LHG to LHG, but what about WAP60 to LHG 60? I assume that would cut the 1500m limit down to what, 1000m?

we are having loads of disconnects. Up and down constantly signal is solid at -53.

If we load 6.43rc5 no disconnects at all.

All the newer versions constant disconnects. Any ideas on how to solve this?

We are currently on 6.43rc45

RC24 SFP issues FCS Errors

Hi, We have updated our CCR1072 to rc24 and we are now getting random FCS errors on the link. The lasers have a sensitivity of -23dBm and we are receiving light over 78km at -16dBm The router was running 6.35.2 before no issues with this worked fine. No Errors. Only reason for the upgrade was that m...

Re: CCR, "enterprise ready", seriously???

My biggest grind with RouterOS and CCR routers is the routing engine.  Why an earth are we still running BGP on one core of the router? our core router has 150 BGP Peers and its just screwed after a month of uptime mainly because the router cant add any routes into the routing table anymore. Which i...

Hi I hope someone can shed some light on this! I brought a CCR1036-8G-2S+ a few weeks ago expecting to use the SFP+ ports in the future. I just updated to RC12 and im defo getting better performance than RC11.

The BGP routing tables also loaded in alot faster took about 1min 30 to load 2x 443,000 routes.

It also seams the tx drops have stopped. Time will tell! :)

we are also now at 0% CPU and on RC11 it was always at 3%

Hi, It is possible to make the airpoint series work with RouterOS.
