Re: MikroTik Devices Controller

Cloud based even with subscription for any ROS device. Generate temporary links to access the Device from the cloud. Make a pool of credits for a given account and let the user of the account use the credits based on time of the generated links for its devices. Implement a strong protocol for commun...

Re: SwOS Lite version 2.14 released!

On Link Tab there are new columns such as "Length", "Fault at", "Cable Pair"
How can we read Cable Pair property? Couldn't find any explanation on the wiki.
I am asking because I have one remote CSS610-8G-2S+ which reports on ether8 Cable Pair: __oo

Thank you

Re: v7.1beta6 [development] is released!

Can we say that MLAG is similar to stackable switches, or did I get it wrong?

Re: v7.1beta6 [development] is released!

Too many complaints about beta or alpha. It is a testing release so bad things happen. Whether it is beta or alpha, I do not see the point, you install it and take the risk of things not working as supposed to. Remember that mikrotik tries to put lot of features in one box so it is not that easy to ...

Re: SwOS version 2.13 released!

Upgrading CRS354-48G-4S+2Q+ to SWOS went smooth.
The procedure as indicated in opening post. First upgrade to ROS 6.48.2 and from there upgrade to SWOS 2.13.
The only thing I noticed was fans working a bit more than in ROS.

Re: Isolate two bridges at Layer 2 [SOLVED]

Now that you're asking I think I made a dumb question. The bridges, being logical interfaces, act like normal interfaces, so there should be no L2 talk between them, right?

Isolate two bridges at Layer 2 [SOLVED]

Hello On a CCR2004, I have two bridges. Bridge_A which has sfp1 to sfp5 and Bridge_B which includes sfp6 to sfp10. Internet is configured on ether1. I want to isolate the two bridges, don't want them to talk to each other at Layer2, while the two bridges need to access internet. What is the best way...

Re: block communications of connected networks via route

@k6ccc What you quoted me, was more a continuation of my first post, rather than a statement. I know networks are connected by the router. But reading it now I understand the confusion, english not being my first language :) I had heard of a way to block networks via routes so I was more experimenti...

Re: block communications of connected networks via route

Thank you anav. I don't see why the question is confusing. Two networks on two interfaces should not communicate with each other. Anyway, I found how to do it. Instead of: /ip firewall filter add chain=forward src-address=192.168.10.0/24 dst-address=192.168.20.0/24 action=drop add chain=forward src-...

block communications of connected networks via route

Hello

Is there anyway to block communication between connected networks via routing (not from firewall filter).
For example, network 192.168.10.0/24 on eth3 and 192.168.20.0/24 on eth4.

Thank you
