Look up the dyndns (and changeip, etc.) scripts on the wiki. i repalced it to 19v 3amp laptop power supply which is more than perfect

an XR2 and an SR2 are going to peak a significant current if they both TX together. go to your adsl router


and choose bridge insted or PPPOA or PPPOE

and setup the vpi and vci on ur modem

then go to MT

create a pppoe client bond to your wan interface which is connected directly to you ADSL modem

xr2 good go for it IF ITS INDOOR

mikrotik solution as more than gr8 on indoor enviroment also very relible WDS and repeaters u can't find better than it


if u dont want to face anyproblems just go for R52 cards its regular quite card or any atheros based card AR5006

i m using 18v 1amp running XR-2 and 200mw atheros 5006 card with now problems

except when i do overclocking for the wireless card (30.5dbm) i justhave to ues 19v 3.45 amp in this case everything going stable i m using 25meter cat5 cable

on defualt i got 28dbm

once i make card rate i and set the tx power to 28 dbm i got on my meter 30dbm + (my meter max is 30dbm)

unbelivable powerfull mini-pci = to amplifire 1 watt on signal range

did you try v3b7? check you ethernet that goes from router to the pc (behind MT) make sure its not gigabit ( i got only 19mbps with some of them) also access you motherbord bios and disable everythink that u dont need (USB Audio printer interface anything that u dont need then try) locking up router...

i have alot of cards that is not uesable now its become littel bit deaf (-15 to -20) db of the drop on the signal


i remove the diversity switch and i solder direct wires i good very good RX signal


but there is no TX signal @ all


anyway have this knowelage or he did that before?

the antenna is about 23 meter than the ground the area is totally flat i can connect to the ap directly from the laptop for 9km away from the ap (which is very strong) also i have MT to MT connection omni to omni over 13km link the signal is -78/-76 also there is problems with the pinging i got a lo...

did a test using 100mw board @ 24mbps working great TX @11-11.5 mbps RX same

now i m sure normunds is 100% right
i have omni direction 15 db i noticed BIIIIIIG diffrent the 200mw is lower signal in client side , BUT more stable and all links works more than great,

if you want to incress your browsing speed just decress your MAx http object to 250 k defult 4096k in this case ur browsing will be 20% faster

hi guys,
i start havinf very low performance in browsing speed the download still the same pinging is less than 1 ms via cable any ideas or somthing that can improve the browsing im using 2.9 also iwas having this problem in 2.9rc10

one fix that MT didnt write it in change log that there was problem between hotspot proxy and the web-proxy if you redirect them to gother you got an error of the url coudnt be retrived it has been fixed now its great :D

ohh my like my configuration i m in saudi arabia very easy to do 1st upgrade to 2.9 after u upgrade it you need to do 2 active gateways one to ur isp the other to ur windoesxp with skystar....done make sure you can ping both gateways from client pc....done then go to ip firewall mangle and make prer...

also i just noticed one more bug in web-proxy
it doesnt respond to my click on the link i need to click on it 3 or 4 times to responed (100% its not from the internet i have to pcs one throw the MT and one directly i can really see the problem i switched pcs cables its still the same)
