Re: Router does not boot correctly, webfig is dead

Eh, no. It still does not boot right.

It run up to "flashing finished successfully" and sit there. I power cycled it, but it is not coming up in the network.

Should I specify IP when flashing, or using a configuration script is enough?

Re: Router does not boot correctly, webfig is dead

I've managed to get the router show up in netinstall, but then a package disappears from the list.
I suspect architecture mismatch. Though, there's only one hAP RB951Ui-2nD…

…a few moments later…

Turned out, it wanted MIPSBE package. Flashing now.

Re: Router does not boot correctly, webfig is dead

Can you try with another power supply?
It's PoE powered using its original power source and an original injector. Was working fine for several months.
I'll try to plug the power directly, but that's really not what I wanted from it.

Re: Router does not boot correctly, webfig is dead

What I don't understand from the documentation is why it can't be coded to let the user choose what interface it wants to work with.

THAT seems logical.

(A side note: winbox let me in, upgraded to 7.15, no dice, webfig still dead.)

Router does not boot correctly, webfig is dead

My hAP RB951Ui-2nD got into a state of insanity, it seems. It hardly boot up, lights show impossible states, and when it finally get to do SOMETHING useful after numerous watchdog reboots, the web interface is not accessible. The quick summary page is entirely blank, and trying to access any subpage...

Re: CRL showing invalid

I've managed to fix CRL download by redirecting static DNS resolution of "\.localdomain\.lan$" via internal DNS server.
Also had to make an exclusion for CRL files to be available without SSL.

Re: Is there a Chromecast/MikroTik checklist/FAQ?

I've tried to disable all drop rules with not a sign of success. Will have to investigate more thoroughly once I relocate the router to a new place in the apartments.

Re: Is there a Chromecast/MikroTik checklist/FAQ?

That one is enabled.
I'll have to do some log digging then to see what packets are dropped.

Is there a Chromecast/MikroTik checklist/FAQ?

I've already done my share of "google", but it's still not clear to me, what settings I need to touch to make my Android TV visible on chromecast devices. I have an Android 7.1.1 on both devices, both connected to the same wireless AP (MikroTik hAP RB951Ui-2nD). I'm unable to locate "...

PPPoE client configuration issue

Hello, board. I'm trying to set up a newly bought RB951-2nD with intent to replace my current DIR-300, but I have a problem. ISP provides service through PPPoE, when I connect all cables proper and run test for PPPoE concentrator, it seems to see one, but I'm unable to set up client to run. It eithe...

Troubleshooting PPPoE client connection

I've bought the RB951Ui-2nD device to replace my aging DIR-300NRU.B5. But it seems I can not connect to the ISP ( Starlink/MSK , using PPPoE). When I run test, it sees the concentrator, but connection won't start. Status shows "waiting for packets" or looping through "init", depe...
