Re: v7.8 [stable] is released!

BFD!!!!! WHEN!!!! Come on guys - If you are having issues deploying it tell us!

A lot of us have fleets of CCR2004 we cannot use or if we are using them they are so unstable but we cannot go to v7 without BFD!

Re: v7.8beta [testing] is released!

@mikrotik - Why the delay on BFD - It's time to be real!

BFD is far more important than adding RAID/iSCSI/NFS support to a "Router"

Re: v7.7rc is released!

Hi Team, We've noticed in 7.7rc1 that when using ipv6 the dynamic routes do not update with old delegated prefix staying in the list well after they have been changed. In our test we adjusted the delegated range in our clients Radius Auth from 1::/64 to a::/64 however in the routing table 30 minutes...

Re: BNG configuration - IPoE / PPPoE Recommendations

Thanks for the reply however we have most of this configuration already in place. I did note he configured the same way I thought we'd need to with manually creating each instance of the configuration set.

BNG configuration - IPoE / PPPoE Recommendations

Hi All, I'm currently investigating options for RouterOS configuration to efficiently setup IPoE and PPPoE configuration where the wholesale carrier provides each service on a separate VLAN to the BNG. While I could go add X number of vlans pre configured with either a DHCP Server or PPPoE server co...

Re: v7 Rest API - ANSIBLE - PUT/Post

Quick Update: I managed to push through and get most of the requests working however I am stuck now on the .query function and how to use it with regex? Working Interface Creation: - name: Adding VLAN to parent interface uri: url: "{{item.url}}" method: POST url_username: user url_password...

v7 Rest API - ANSIBLE - PUT/Post

Hi All, I am trying to add a couple of v7 devices into Ansible and as the standard commands appear to fail with v7 I'm looking to replicate the following playbook tasks into a Rest API query. Task 1: - name: Adding VLAN to parent interface routeros_command: commands: - /interface/vlan/add vlan-id=12...

Re: How to downgrade beyond the factory installed version 7.1.1

CCR2004 is not stable in V6 - We have 6 of them on the shelf because they randomly lock up and reboot with the minimalist of configurations.

Re: The big CCR2004 reboot thread (was 2004 hardware issues?)

I gave up on my tickets with Support regarding the issues. We had 6 CCR2004 all rebooting randomly - Usually when OSPF or BGP has a big update but some time doing nothing just would either lockup or reboot. I had one this morning which had been online for "Device rebooted after 90 days 8 hours ...

Re: The big CCR2004 reboot thread (was 2004 hardware issues?)

We've reported it to Mikrotik on multiple occasions an they've been able to replicate it.

Unfortunately now we have all the CCR2004's out of production so we cannot provide any further production testing - The risk was too high leaving it in the network.

Re: The big CCR2004 reboot thread (was 2004 hardware issues?)

It would be great to get a comment from Mikrotik on this matter - It would also be nice to get a refund on the hardware we cannot use due to it being "Faulty"

Re: 2004 hardware issues?

We tried to RMA our units as not fit for use and it was rejected so we now have 4 of them just sitting collecting dust.
What was the reason for rejecting?

Support Delays?

Hi Guys, Is anyone away of any delays in support assistance currently? Unfortunately i'm at the point where I need to pull our ...
