You can't add multicast mac-address to interface actually. But you can subscribe to multicast group. As I understand you right, you need to recieve IPTV on your computer. Re: multiple gateways, same gateway IP

please provide a bit more information about you configuration.
As how as i understood you have such scheme:

mt --- ether 1 --- ISP ip x.x.x.x (same subnet and address)
|
|
ether2
|
|
ISP ip ip x.x.x.x (same subnet and address)

Is this correct?

Have you set the router id? It seems to be important on 3.15+ I also think ospf seems more unreliable on the newer versions. Router ID should be set up automatically by router (highest ip address), if this option is not set manually. If not so, this is the issue of RouterOS 3.15+. What's with 3.20?

Re: BGP routing - how can I manually weight a route?

In Cisco it's needed to create route-map and add AS-PATH prepend. Your AS route should look like AS65535 - AS65535 - AS65535. Besides that you should to filter required prefixes and apply route-map for it.

Re: Upgrading fron 2.9.x to 3.x - How to succeed every time

Could you provide with more detailed information about the configuration, when upgrade from v2 to v3 isn't working on the fly.
example: rb112 with RoS 2.9.46, 2.9.50 or 2.9.51. Hotspot service configured. I have provided some details in e-mail for support.

Re: MicroTik RouterOS 3.13 SNMP write vulnirability

I'm not satisfied that that filter will stop variations of this exploit. Everyone has the source code for it, so they could alter it in any way that is effective. Butch's idea to stop snmp as it comes in to your network will reduce 99% of the risk. I must repeat - exploit is not harmful! And my L7-...

Re: MicroTik RouterOS 3.13 SNMP write vulnirability

Don't worry. This exploit is not malicious or harmful, just proof of concept code. This is feauture, not a bug in the clear way=) BTW you can specify hardguessing snmp community and filter requests with L7 filter: /ip firewall layer7-protocol add comment="snmp-set request filter by shados"...

routeros <= 3.13 export bug

Hello! I have detected the bug in Mikrotik RouterOS 3.13 and earlier versions. Error is in the wrong export settings (f.e. snmp). Thus, if the snmp-community contains special characters such as "," then not be able to restore the configuration. Such a mistake, connectivity with the special...

Re: BUG in ROS 3.3: vlan interfaces aren't runing after boot!

I had the same problem with RB532, RB133C, RB511 ROS 3.2, 3.3 after upgrading from 2.9.50.
The problem was resolved - just delete your vlan & eoip interfaces, reboot and recreate it. After next reboot all should be ok.
