Any idea why PoE auto was removed for L009?

I just checked the release notes for 7.12 and looks like it's intentional. One of the items say that support for poe auto mode is removed for L009 devices.
I just don't understand why?

Another thing worth mentioning is, I wanted to check if the radios in the device are good, so I did a scan using the 5GHz radio
