Legacy wireless does not provide any of the standards that improve roaming. I agree. I don't even need to complain on 7.13. Like a charm when 600kb free space. But it is about the addition of new stuff in 7.14+ that consumes all the flash storage. Mikrotik could have not made a "wifi-qcom-ac" driver — which likely avoid all these discussions — and just suggested f...

Do yourself a favor and downgrade to 7.13.5 when already netinstalling. Last stable version with reasonable free space (around 600kb) for a Chateau LTE12.

Is this a bug? Suddenly signal level for 5ghz interface (cap-wifi3) shows positive numbers in column "signal"? Not only in Winbox, verified on CLI too.

We can't "Add stuff", we can only "Make stuff" Then make it, or simply allow official ONIE support on your hardware, we'll flash any OS of choice and get over RouterOS. Are you in love with Mikrotik hardware so much? So there is a thing by Mikrotik you can't complain about? Wow

Different experience here with a U6+. The channel selection on "auto" is aweful. It even chose the same channel 1 of the only other 2ghz AP around. Pretty dumb

I use these bridge filter rules too. Some years ago I played around with quickset and compared config exports when changing anything in quickset. I liked the approach of using bridge filters for guest wifi - so I adopted it in my initial-provisioning script. Dead simple without the need for vlans.
