Thanks anav!

Wireguard looks good, but as you stated it is still in beta.

Re: help wanted: thoughts on EoIP MT to MT VPN setup?

Thanks for your hint. I am now trying to make it work. There are a lot of guides, but they seem to be obsolete. My first step is making L2TP work without ipsec and then enabling ipsec on the connection. After that i will try EoIP to get going. Anyway, it is fun to find out how to get it going. Links...

Re: CAPsManger provisioning two separate SSID's - Not Working

When provisioning, you have one master and the other virtual AP's as slave. Provisioning them all as master is not correct. Anyway, without a config nothing is certain. Here is my provisioning config: /caps-man provisioning print 0 radio-mac=00:00:00:00:00:00 hw-supported-modes="" identity...

Update:
It looks like iDevices can (re)connect without any problems.
Now i need to see which setting(s) make the difference.

Re: Mikrotik wi-fi and Iphone = problem

At this moment we are testing MT capsman with mixed clients. Though i like the way capsman works, we experience instability and connection problems with mainly iDevices. Based on what i have read on the forum here and elsewhere, we may need to cancel the evaluation and find another solution for our ...

Capsman actual-interface-configuration interface flapping

I am testing capsman AP configuration and found that the actual interface on the capsman router is flapping. This occurs when there have been no connects to the AP managed by capsman. When connecting to the AP, it takes a short while to get optimal data throughput, the cap interface goes from DOWN t...

Dividing one routerboard making it two separate wan routers

I want to "divide" a router into two WAN<->LAN routers with some connectivity between the LAN's. The router i want to do this with is a RB4011iGS+RM because of it CPU power. So, eg. port 1-5 are in one group and 6-10 are in the other group. port 1 WAN, ports 2-5 LAN for Clients (with some ...
