Re: Problem with script in RouterOS3.17

I guess since I provided this script I need to debug it : ) The thought on this version was to detect the default gateway and determine the interface name from the routing table. Let me load this up on a 3.19 router and test and get back to you. I truly appreciate the help... the version for 2.9 wa...

Re: Mikrotik, what can i do with it?

I would think that the Mikrotik will be used as a controller so you can provide usernames and passwords to your guests. The AP will only serve exactly for that... access... the controlling is done by the mikrotik. I'm actually working in hotel doing just abut that... Wireless is not easy, particular...

Re: concurrent wireless connection question

but if we said you were putting up an AP and you had enough bandwidth to distribute 512 to each client concurrently, an RB333 is capable of about 25-30 mbit on a single radio so roughly 60 clients concurrent would max out the radio. Long answer short, I would suggest you service no more than 50 cli...

Hello, You could do two things... 1.- when you get the support call (not if but when) you can figure out what is the address they are trying to reach for step 3 and add it to the walled garden, then they can continue on with the registration and any new user that tries to go to the same place will n...

And to move rule, simply drag it to where you want it to be in winbox...
I told you it would be something easy.... (it's the kind of stuff newbies want to learn but is documented nowhere)

Thank you, now I can "move" the rules all over the place as needed...

However ports 10000-20000 could also be used for p2p, so move the rule below the packet marking for p2p. I have read the "move rule" "place rule first" so on and so forth but dont know how to "move" them around... It must be something really stupid but i have not been able to figure out how to "mov...
