I never told that this is the final scenario. I'm not going to intervene in the rest of the discussion but ... OP said he wanted devices to connect to a hex that is behind CGNAT for VPN purposes (i.e. Road warrior setup). There is no way to do that via a standard Wireguard config due to the CGNAT. Why not ? You only need ONE public IP (doesn't ...

What router are you using ?
My guess from seeing the MAC address, cAP AX or AX2 (devices I have are using more or less the same range but that could be a pure coincidence).
So yes, check Wifi tab (and why is wireless loaded then ?)

Because there is functionality in older versions that is not in 7.13. When using many access-points managed by Capsman while using Capsman forwarding it is not possible to go to 7.13. It is simply not acceptable to change all access-points to local forwarding. Small comment here: Since 7.13 basic w...

Try netinstall, sometimes it clears out space which is left behind from earlier versions.
If that doesn't help, try 7.14rc1, it should be a bit smaller (maybe just enough to have zerotier added).

But why zerotier ? Wireguard is also an option and default available in ROS7.

As it says on the screenshot: your device is country locked !!

What is on the label which is on the bottom of the device ?

If it is effectively a country locked version (label should show RBcAPGi-5acD2nD-XL-<country code>), 2 options:

To make matters more complex ... cAP AC is capable of running wave2 drivers. For that you need to upgrade cAP AC to 7.13 at least. Then remove wireless package and add wifi-qcom-ac. When that happens, Hex doesn't need wireless anymore and can (as from 7.13) use capsman for wave2 devices from the sta...

@Mesquite: it _IS_ a PCC problem if connections between two same addresses but different ports are being sent over different WAN because of the classifier. Because of this: per-connection-classifier=both-addresses-and-ports Skip ports part or it will result in a possible different WAN to be chosen. You want all connections from source A towards source B to be using the same WAN, regardless of ports. So: per-connection-classifier=both-addresses on all r...

Quick and dirty you can solve this with a second bridge with all whistles and bells (e.g. second DHCP server, second DHCP pool etc.) and attach wireless interfaces serving Guest to that second bridge. Obviously those ethernet ports need to be connected to bridge. Only your WAN interface not IF you have a separate WAN connection.
If the device is completely used as bridge/switch, all ether ports are to be connected to bridge.

DHCP then needs to be attached to VLAN interface

VLAN handling over 1 bridge.
Should always work, regardless of device type.

For some devices it is possible performance gains can be obtained doing things slightly different (see relevant pages for that in Help).
But the generic VLAN handling using 1 bridge will always work.

Re: hAP ax^2 Wifi problem [SOLVED]

Default you should already have 2 wifi interfaces on that device.
wifi1 = 5GHz radio
wifi2 = 2.4GHz radio.

So what do you mean with "gave it a factory reset" ?
Was that before moving to 7.13 ?

Do you have by any chance a wireless package on that device ? You shouldn't.

You are referring to old documentation:
https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/Wireless

There are 2 versions of capsman depending on the wifi drivers used by AP (and both CM versions can be used on the same controller):
Legacy: no wpa3
wave2: wap3 is supported.

It's an address on a local interface so input for the router.

If you have another client on that 192.168.88.0 segment (let's say 192.168.88.2), it will not be reachable from 192.168.77.0-segment unless you make a proper routing rule and provided there is no forward rule blocking it.
