I think/ hope we all (most ?) here have the same intentions. Help others and learn something out of it while doing so.
Some members can be quite snappy and vocal but even for those I think the underlying motivation is the same.
Open your web browser, the default IP management address is 192.168.88.1, with username: admin and no password (or, for some models, check user and wireless passwords on the sticker)
And you did not answer this one.If your mAP is completely within your own network, then you can open that gate with little problems.
But if that device is a true AP, why the different subnets ?
FWIW that is in most cases the advised way to setup things. The network config does not look very good, everything is on the same bridge.
Exactly same as AX Lite.A ARM64 CPU run at 32bit mode?
From what I can see, it is.When you have the chance please test if the load is distributed across multiple CPU cores
thank you
Previous poster omitted the fact I did an upgrade in between unpacking and noticing this "challenge"Both my wAP AX's where supplied with 7.15.x.
135km away from where I am.I would not recommend to upgrade after 7.13.
You want it moved to Beginner Basics ?Does this belong in a !General area?
5Ghz radio so definitely no cap nor cap mini.Firstly: I assumed you had a capAC, but it would appear you have a CAP ONLY. Please confirm!!!
See aboveWell there you go...
and so why do you make use of the container feature?... (but I do make use of the container feature, I will admit).
1- I don't think they are cheaperAre you talking about the need to purchase a coaxial cable to RJ45 connector device? So, I would like to know the cost of them, are they cheaper than the power cable devices? Also, do they require an additional power supply?
AFAIK it is advised not to do that since some clients may completely avoid an AP playing such tricks.Ofcourse you can play with tx power, as well you can add access lists to block clients when a thresshold is reached.
Worst case (if cable is no option): powerline.Be aware that you will have a 2.4GHz radio as backhaul, don't expect to much of it. If possible, run cables.
I took care of that for youHow can I mark this as solved?
" old" Hex runs The Dude since a long time. Now that hEX Refresh has an ARM CPU, does that mean it can run Dude?
Self-knowledge is the beginning of all wisdom ...My skills are actually limited but my ability to pester those far more knowledgeable are second to none!
viewtopic.php?t=211863Even for the useful RB750Gr3 there is now an announced replacement with 128MB flash!
Was there an announcement I missed? Where do you see this?
Done.We might have to rename this threadCode: Select all*) wifi - re-word the "SA Query timeout" log message to "not responding";
This one ?I am facing this same proble with RB 3011 UiAS-RM
I have install wifi - qcom package and still master interface unknown.
Please how can i get this down.
Doubtful ... most likely a config issue. The configuration is correct as I have made dozens, Ethernet port is on the Bridge.
Just used one of your little gems as a response to someone having trouble searching for host-names (which can be case "anything")Case INsensitive search (on example on comment field)

Where did you get that from ?...but ROS can be hard to master.
Could be but unlikely. Is it possible they told me a router already compromised?
Probably this one:PS, i had a link to a great Mikrotik forum article/guide on implementing VLANs, but seems the article has been deleted - does anyone have a link to a suitable article please?
It depends.Actually, there's nothing complicated about it; you just need to manually add the wireless package
