Hi, if you have 192.168.1.x on one side and 192.168.0.x on the other, why did you bridge between these Networks? Just use the SXTs as router on each side between both, so you don't need any filter. Regarding your link performance, I see TX- & RX-Rate switching all the time in a wide range, also ...

Because 802.11 (without any letter) isn't designed for large outdort PtMP installations with lots of 'hidden stations'.

Re: German RegTP Requirements

Normaly you don't have to pay for IP Addresses, so where is the problem? It's absolute easy to tunnel from a central datacenter public IP Adresses to a remote side using Mikrotik, so why do you want to use NAT and make 200 and more hitches in your brain and configuration to fulfil the Europeen law? ...

Re: German RegTP Requirements

Counterquestion:
How can an ISP deliver services without giving public ip addresses to the customers? Where is the problem ro do that? How can you bring up real ISP services with a natted network?

So, for a real ISP this is not a question.

EoIP is a MT protocol, so if you just do it on a single machine, it's not very usefull :-))

So just do MLPPP with an ISP in your region who offers this feature.

Re: Join Or Bonding Two Multiple Internet Connection INto 1 Pipe

1. Check if your ISP provide MLPPP

2. If not, take a second MT system in a datacenter and make an EoIP-Tunnel to that system across each uplink. Than you can bond the EoIP-Interfaces on both sides to one pipe. For this, all uplinks should have the same speed.

Hi,

solution is simple and straigt forward, just use public IPs, thats it. We offer in Germany a tunnel connection to our central systems with an EoIP or L2TP tunnel, so our customers can get public ips thru that tunnel.

Re: German RegTP Requirements

The only problem here will be if you use private IP space in your internal network. Max Muster have 192.168.100.100, hmm? That will not be enogh for the new law starting at 01.01.2009.

Exporting the whole NAT table maybe help, but is more an abstract solution.

Don't forget that the frequence you adjust is the middle frequency of a 20MHz channel. Yes, if your carrier offers MLPPP you can use it. If not, you can do some workarounds using EoIP between the system at your side and a second Mikrotik based system in a computercenter. But keep in mind, that all DSL-Uplinks in a MLPPP bundle must have absolute the same linkspeed, otherwise you will run in problems. The first test are made with a 768KBit and a 1M Bit downstrem DSL. This didn't work okay.

Was also possible earlier, just without address-list feature. Just make an IP-Pool per bandwidth you like to have on your AC and map them to a PCQ queue.

You will be able to handle much more users on your AC, without getting higher latency!
