Formatted using ext4. that is the first thing i did.

Did you check the SD Card for bad memory blocks before trying to use it?

The SD is brand new, how ever i tried with another SD and got the same behaviour result.

Hello i have the latest Virtualbox, and tried from the VM Menu-->Machine -->Reset.

But the mode did not update to container.

Same thing to me when i tried it on VirtualBox, can not update the device-mode.
