Re: v6.1 VLAN Trunking

Right. Getting old in my slow age.

Bridging the two master ports solves the problem.

Thanks for the bandwidth.

v6.1 VLAN Trunking

Hi, I've setup VLAN trunk ports and access ports on an RB1100AHx2. Everything works very well. My problem is that I require 10 switch ports (9x trunk and 1x access). With the 2x 5port switches in the RB1100AHx2 I cannot get the trunks from one switch to the other without using up two of the physical...

Re: Ping problem in dual ospf routed link

Without further information this is just a wild guess, but it sounds like the PCs on each side do not know the route back to the IP address that the RB450G is using to communicate. For example: To the computer the RB450G looks like it is coming from either 1.1.1.1 or 2.2.2.1 or 1.1.1.2 or 2.2.2.2 (d...

Re: 802.11n

Okay... After a day or so of messing about I've gotten the following results...(thanks to omega-00 for the excellent information) [w/ conn. track] TCP: 60.6MBps (peak) 60.1MBps (average) Very stable (w/ conn. track). UDP: 179.8MBps (peak) Very unstable. Ping Times - 1ms/2ms/22ms (min, avg, max) [wo/ c...

Everything is latest version. v3.13 RouterOs and v2.16 firmware.

Any other ideas?

RB600 + Dual-NStreme + Unbalanced Traffic

Hi, I have a client with the following situation: RB600's, signals bottom -50s, SR5 and XR5 cards tried (no difference between results) Traffic through the link generated with external units using IXchariot. Single connection, 30Mbit both directions. Works flawlessly. However, when doing a test with...

Odd Wireless Latency Issues

Hi, I have a 14.5km 5.x GHz link with perfect LoS. I can see the two sides on a clear day. I am running a RB333 on one side, RouterOS v3.9 (was v3.3 upgraded in case problem was version specific) and a RB532 on the other side, RouterOS v3.9 (was v3.3 upgraded in case problem was version specific) Bo...

Re: rb600 make reboot every day

Without knowing about the apparent issues with the RB600 I replaced a RB230 (4cards) and RB532(3cards) with a RB600 and RB604 daughterboard on Saturday. I replaced almost all the cards as well (old Senao and CM9s). I now have 5x RB52H and 2x RB52 installed in the unit. It is being powered by direct ...

Cards losing signal.

Hi, I have run across a problem of late and am stumped for a solution. I have noticed that certain cards are suddenly losing 10-20dB signal for no apparent reason. The cards include the Mikrotik R52 (abg), Senao NMP-8602 (abg) and Senao NMP-3602 (bg). The information I have is: 1) The cards are at v...
