Re: v7.14 [stable] is released!

AWS sent me a notification that there is a new ROS Image available, does this mean updates will work now without the Instance type t3 -> t2 -> t3 limbo when freshly deployed?

Yes, it seems that limit and target-address are required. I don't think this should be the intended behavior, Mikrotik users (and guides on the internet) have been applying simple queues directly to interfaces for years without issues. It works great with the V6 queue types but V7 ones such as CAKE...

Looks like CAKE doesn't cause a kernel panic if the target of your simple queue is an IP address instead of an interface, I setup mine like this where vlan999 is my WAN and 192.168.88.0/24 my LAN. (notice that leaving the destination empty will throttle your LAN speeds which is really bad) /queue t...

The problem is related to the bridge.
You web-server and client are at the same bridge interface, and packets from iphone goes to bridge, they are not hitting firewall.

Re: CCR 1036-12G-EM reboot problem

1) I strongly suggest to use MikroTik RouterOS vv6.27 on your router. Upgrade instructions are here,
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Upgrading_RouterOS

2) Find Null modem cable and check for console output, that you see when router is not rebooting properly.

Re: Configure RB750 bandwidth control

If you run default configuration (or modified default configuration), make sure you have /interface bridge settings set use-ip-firewall=yes.

Re: RouterOS as WPA2-Enterprise Radius Server for third party accesspoints

At the moment User Manager does not support WPA2-Enterprise authentication for remote clients.
However we are working on this feature, it will be available within few upcoming versions.

Re: Basic questions for configuring DMZ in small network with mikrotik

First of all you need to consider for yourself, what you want to achieve with DMZ.
MikroTik RouterOS does not have such checkbox DMZ=enabled/disabled.
But MikroTik RouterOS provides you with wide range of firewall/NAT/mangle features, that allows to achieve any possible setup with firewall.

Note, this is community forum.
For support and to increase demand for specific card support, it is better to contact MikroTik support (support@mikrotik.com).
I assume new drivers support will be added at v7.x!

What OS do you use for Winbox 3.0rc6?
What kind of error do you get, when it crashes?
