Re: Modifing out-filter field is not really applied

Ok. We have tried all ways described in the article, but the trouble was not solved.
Neither route refresh nor route resend helped.

Today we read the article again and try all possible cases more carefully...

Re: Modifing out-filter field is not really applied

We fixed the problem by adding disable and enable for BGP-peers: routing bgp peer disable [/ip bgp peer find name="ISP1"] routing bgp peer disable [/ip bgp peer find name="ISP2"] ip routing bgp peer set [/ip bgp peer find name="ISP1"] out-filter="" ip routing bgp peer set [/ip bgp peer find name="IS...

OK. I have found the trouble. I have 3 routes in route tables - one of them is static, other are got dynamically from BGP neighbors. When the first line is executed - the error (or warning) about cannot modify dynamic routes is appeared. After this error (or warning) execution of full script stopped...

Re: Installing RouterOS to Compact Flash card and reduce wri

Thank you for information. I have seen the graphing and turn it on 24 hours-mode instead of 5 min-mode. Now I have about 2000 writes per card. As I understand it is the minimal value in my configuration. For information (may be usefull for anybody): I have a BGP router based on FreeBSD 6.2 which I i...

make logging either in memory or set up remote logging. If you use hotspot, make sure you have disabled "/ip proxy" and set that it does not cache at all. That is basically all you have to and can do. In that case access to storage will be reduced maximum or fully. Has RouterOS any system tasks whi...

exactly because of questions like these. if there would be only PC, somebody will ask - "But I have a wrap board and it's not a PC"! If it would only say X86, they will ask "what's that, I need packages for PC?" Believe me, we used to get loads of those emails. Of course, both of the choices you sh...

thats a southbridge not a platform. You said it has Intel P3. What package do you think you need?
So, I need a help and answer the quetion. Not a quetion for quetion. What does your answer mean? Intel/AMD means proccessor type or chipsets based on motherboard?

Minirouter as RS-232 to Ethernet redisrector or gateway

Hello! Please tell me, 1. Can a minirouter (based on routerboard.com hardware with RS-232 interface) acts as RFC 2217-compliant serial port (RS-232) redirector? Re: Bridge and IP-addressing

I'm awfully sorry for posting above. My problem is resolved. I have wrong assigned IP-address on the Bridge group and ethernet interfaces.
The IP-address in IP->Adresses must be in "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/nn" format, not in "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx". It is my mistake.
