Re: CSS610-8G-2S+ Management Access from SFP+ Port

As I remember it was always a problem with new devices. However, the problems with the CCR2004 / CSS610 can only be compared to those introduced by the first CCR models. But it was never the case that support was silent for such a long time. I see the following possibilities: 1. They row forward to ...

Re: CCR2004 packet loss

I've also problem with tx drops on switch (CRS317). Never had this problem before with RB4011. Tx drop are only on interfaces connected to CCR2004. Tested "overloading" ports connected to server with CHR -> not drop, no issue. In the case of connecting the 10G interface to the 1G interfac...

Re: CCR2004 packet loss

There is a problem with Tx-Drop on mikrotik 10Gbps interfaces in combination with any 1Gbps interface.
Even at speeds of 100Mbps, TX-drops arrive quickly.

Re: Netpoer Lite 7R and problem with SFP+ (dhcp/gui)

Bad things happen at MikroTik, a product released for sale without a basic functional check. It is a great shame ... and even bigger is a long wait for a correction.

They are selling "beta" hardware and we are still paying a lot of money to test everything for them !!!

Re: CCR1072 multicast continuity errors when plugging in both psu`s

Is this a design flaw in the CCR1072 or a software bug?
I have a CCR1036 as a PIM router and noticed that for channels with more bandwidth, there are CC errors and image artifacts, pixel issues. Usually when someone turns on a given channel (IGMP Join).

How did your problem end?

I guess you have to be very patient ... I have the same problem, but the support's answer does not show that it quickly solves the problem definitively.
Recently, there are many problems with the new MikroTik models.

Re: SwOS version 2.12 released!

2.12 has many issues on CRS309. Worse being ports randomly shutting down and switch freezing which is totally unacceptable. With 2.11 ports will sometimes shut down if a computer is rebooted, but never while running. And we all know about the RX/TX flow control issues in 2.12 which is what I suspec...

CRS326-24S+2Q+RM and FAN

I have a slightly strange reading of the fan behavior in the CRS326-24S + 2Q + RM.
It turns on in pulses for a few seconds (according to data taken from snmp, 5min cycle).

Is this behavior normal?
How to set the fan to run at low speed continuously?

Request: I propose that after clicking "Reset Configuration" you should be asked to confirm this action.

The "Reset Configuration" button is close to the "Save Backup" button and it's easy to click wrongly, especially when working remotely.

Re: CCR2004 packet loss

Today I have tested all combinations with different queue sizes. There is a difference, if you set ethernet-default and experiment with the size of the queue it may be enough for you. I checked between 50-1000 packets and there was always a TX DROP problem, with queue values of 150-250 the least pro...

I have this problem too. It's good to know that Mikrotik Support will be working on it. I have yet seen that many people report a problem with the vlan configuration, I haven't tried it yet, I will wait for the new SwOS, maybe there will be less nerves.

Hello, I have an internal test lab before implementing NetPower Lite 7R into the network. If the main network is connected via SFP + (1G or 10G plugs or copper - it does not matter), Netpower Lite 7R does not get the IP address from DHCP correctly and you cannot log into the interface. netpower7r-pro...

CCR 1016-12G with soft pre-6.0-rc7, 6.0-rc7 and 6.0rc8.

Problem: When using winbox open Qeueu menu, CCR reboots and log is the record: you reboot the router without proper shutdown. The same is true if the consoles I give the command: / queue> monitor.

RB1100U and port hang-ups

We have a RB1100U as a concentrator for ~25 EoIP tunnels and as DHCP server for 700 users. From the very beginning there was a problem with it, it would randomly stop working for all ports in group 1 (ether1-ether5) - while the rest would be operational. Swapping for another RB unit didn't solve the...
