Re: A function for url encoding

Is there a way to do this conversion including national characters with diacritics (German, Czech and other languages)? I tried to make a similar script, but I failed just on the diacritics. RouterOS probably takes "e", "é" and "ě" as the same characters and I don't kno...

Re: How to use fetch tool with IPv6

Exactly as you wrote, unusable for api.wedos.com because it also redirects to https. Thanks for the info.

Re: How to use fetch tool with IPv6

Thank you all for your replies. Unfortunately, I'm not pleased. I hope Mikrotik will fix it soon. I use RouterOS 7.14 and following row gives this error message "failure: Conflicting hostnames provided in URI and parameter": :put [/tool fetch host=api.myip.com url="https://$ipv6add/in...

How to use fetch tool with IPv6

I'm solving a problem with the fetch tool. I am trying to send a request using the POST method to an HTTPS address that has both A and AAAA records on the DNS servers. For example: /tool fetch url="https://api.wedos.com/" http-method=post http-data="{\"request\":{\"comm...

Re: get IP ADDRESSES on interface

OK, thanks for the kick. Now I found out that besides global, invalid and dynamic, link-local is also usable. Static can't be used as the parameter, I don't even know why. Are these existing and usable parameters listed somewhere in the Mikrotik documentation?

Re: get IP ADDRESSES on interface

Sorry, I confused you and OP.
Okay, all right.
Unfortunately there is no flag that indicates the IPv4 address is global or not
And for IPv6 is there any way?

Re: get IP ADDRESSES on interface

trkk: This could be a solution for the original interviewer, but it won't help me. I am looking for a way to filter and get IP addresses according to their flags. I asked my question in this thread because it applies to the same topic, but I am not the author of the original question. By the way, th...

Re: get IP ADDRESSES on interface

diamuxin: Thanks for reply, but I was referring to getting an IP address in general, not just a public. Specifically, the cloud is good choice for somebody but I am not using.

Re: get IP ADDRESSES on interface

Is there any option to filter it by their flags? For example, in IPv6, an interface has several addresses with different flags, and if I only need to get the global address, how can I do that?

Thank you both for the clarification. I did it according to the Mikrotik documentation and the configuration.manager parameter was used there, so I needed to clarify.

Re: CAPsMAN manager can't manage its own wireless [SOLVED]

If I understand it correctly, I should set the local wifi interfaces as "Capsman or local" and on other Routerboards it should be Capsman only?
/interface wifi
add configuration.manager=capsman-or-local .mode=ap

Re: CAPsMAN manager can't manage its own wireless [SOLVED]

I have a question about the new Capsman (wifi menu for controlling the wifiwave2 devices). Is it possible to manage the wifi interfaces on the same RB Capsman itself runs on (for example on hAP ax3)? If yes, how to do it?

Re: CAPsMAN with WifiWave2

Since ac devices with the legacy wifi driver are still being manufactured and sold, it will not fade out so quickly.
And yes, creating some of communication API layer between the CapsMan and CAPs would solve this problem and I think, that's exactly what Mikrotik should do.

Re: CAPsMAN with WifiWave2

I have a question to Mikrotik's developer: Will be the Capsman separated from the wifi driver anytimes? It would be need to Capsman can to control any CAPs independent on wifi driver (the legacy wifi or wifiwave 2) used by CAPs.

Re: Mikrotik AP that supports WifiWave2 [SOLVED]

RB4011, Hex, RB5009, ... can also be used for that function provided you install wifiwave2 package on them.
Will RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD work with Wifi Wave 2 including 2,4Ghz WiFi? Is it supported by Wifiwave 2? I currently use RouterOS 7.11 beta 4.

Re: Support for ACME/Let's Encrypt certificate management [SOLVED]

My Mikrotik Router hasn't the certificate/acme-client submenu. What is needed to do for it? I didn't understand something.
