Re: Wifi Issue - Android devices!

without your config and settings its impossible to help.
Try to explain your setup, which firmware the devices running? Are you using Capsman?
export file=anynameyoulike
and remove all sensitive information (serial, etc.)

I found the misconfiguration.

Re: Connection lost when lease extended?

I had a similar issue with my IoT devices. They kept disconnecting at random intervals (mostly when DHCP lease was renewed). Issue was solved when I put a static IP address. I suppose (only my interpretation) is that some embedded systems (i.e. ESP8266/ESP32, which are common in IoT devices) are not...

Hi, thanks for your hints. I was reading a bit more and adapted my configuration. - enabled vlan-filtering on bridge on Capsman (RB5009). I somehow overlooked this setting. Re: Same SSID, different VLANs

not necessarily. With CapsMan V2, you can set access list rules, whereby, for example a specific client, one can set a special password. This is useful for IoT devices, which do not have a (good) way to enter a password. So you do not need to weaken your overall Security (weak password), and still c...

Only the 5Ghz WIFI SSID is used for the Apple Devices. IoT on 2.4 Ghz is not known to them
Frequency is handled by CapsMan and not restricted. So, I should restrict the used frequency on both APs, and set it manually to the same one?

Re: Apple Devices not roaming correctly? [SOLVED]

In Capsman V1, I did it exactly like that. Put the txpower with a fixed value (10 in my case). As both values are unset, raising the gain would efficiently lower the txpower by ...

I was doing this in capsman v1 as well, but heard that this is not necessary anymore. Can't find the thread, but bottom line was, not to mess with radio power distribution/settings.
Can you kindly share how and where you reduced txpower? Its highly dynamic as it depends on location of aps, walls, etc.
