Re: IPV6 and OVH

Hey, I encountered the same problem. You get allocated a /64 but the network OVH uses is a /56, so you need to change your IP address to 2001:41d0:1111:5678::/56 and set the IPv6 gateway to 2001:41d0:1111:56ff:ff:ff:ff:ff. CCR1072-1G-8S+ RAM question

Hi, The performance test results of CCR1072 (https://routerboard.com/CCR1072-1G-8Splus) shows 4 scenarios with 2 CPU settings (1GHz and 1.2GHz) as well as the 2 RAM configurations (DDR1333 and DDR1600). From Normis' answer (http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=101045#p505852), he said that CCR1...

Re: Directly connected networks do not exist in non-main routing tables

Thanks! That worked, but I think this is a workaround rather than a fix. Maris told me on a reply: You do not need explicit addition of every connected network in non main routing table. You just need to set up either routing rules or mangle rules so that they exclude traffic where src and dst netwo...

Directly connected networks do not exist in non-main routing tables

Hi, Last week I made a support request to support@mikrotik.com but Emils (ticket number 2016051166000237) stopped responding after I shared my supout.rif file. So I thought I would share my issue here to see if others are having the same problem. I found an issue with directly connected networks/int...

PPTP routes not working?

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has issues with PPTP routes in /ppp secrets. I tried connecting from Windows 7 and MikroTik RouterOS, both clients did not receive the predefined routes in /ppp secrets.

Can anyone else confirm this issue?

Cheers,
Andryan

Re: sstp-out1: terminating... - conn timeout

I just tested reupgrading the client. If the sstp-client is v6.13, no issue. I guess the bug is the sstp-server part in v6.13, not the sstp-client.

Re: x86 Machine - RouterOS 4.5 Crashing

can you find autosupout.rif after power cycling the device? which packages are enabled? do you have lots of things going on on the ROS device?

in my case, my RB1000 locked up regularly at irregular interval and rarely produces autosupout.rif, but eventually produced one.

I have ipv6 settings on my RB1000 and when I use beta3, it will lock up regularly requiring power cycle. hmm, let's see if disabling ipv6 package addresses this issue.

Re: MikroTik RouterOS version 5.0beta3 released!

Because these kinds of problems don't show up on a bench without real working conditions.. can't agree more. people should stop advising others here about not using beta software on production devices. I'm quite sure those who do, do it for a reason. not to mention, most of the time ROS has "hidden...

I agree. By now most MikroTik features should be IPv6-ready, including the widely used EoIP. No more new IPv4 allocation by mid next year.

SSH forwarding still appears to be broken (was also broken in beta2, not sure about beta1) in beta3. I use SSH forwarding to a web server, but the SSH session keeps crashing with "Connection reset by peer".

Re: Netinstall RC14 Problem Solved - Useful Info Here!!

On both of these boards, did you have all 3 slots ocupied with R52H? Could you tell us in which slot was the card that stopped to work after upgradE? Only 1 miniPCI per RB333. IIRC, both R52H were on the uppermost slot. Just tested RB333 running v3.0rc13 with R52H on upper slot, upgraded to v3.0rc1...

RB333 3.0RC10 ethernet bonding issue

Hi all, I recently bought 2 RB333s (3.0RC10 and no miniPCI) to bond 2 local loops (each via 10Mbps full duplex metro ethernet). I did some tests before installing them on the network. I tried to simulate 2 10Mbps links and forced both ethernet to 10Mbps full duplex with auto-negotiation off. Here is...
