No DNS when using default filter [SOLVED]

Didn't have much luck searching for this issue since every posted config contains this, so I hope you don't mind me posting this. Odd problem with one of my clients. I couldn't Winbox to the HEX router via DNS. Turns out the IP/Cloud was not working and system/packages wouldn't check for updates. Af...

I had to install KB5010793 to fix the VPN before the Draytek client would work,

Thanks for all the info in all the posts here. Now to fix a bunch of clients.

I know what you are getting at Tom. AFAIK, the /31 is a special beast, different RFC. Using the /32 is a "workaround" for Mikrotik not supporting that RFC 3021 https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3021 I can't explain this, but today, when I looked, my route says it is reachable. I have no idea ...

Re: frustrating wireless issues (xr3)

I looked at all that was out there when I started the xr3 based system. The pricing was WAY higher per AP. Somewhere around 6 to 10k per sector. I have 9 sectors up in my town already and two in another town. That would be up to 110k for the access points alone. Those kinds of numbers were out of th...

411 client won't connect with rts/cts turned on.

I decided to upgrade one of my ap's and start using the rts/cts in 3.18 and the wireless test. I set it at the access point (not sure I really had to do this) and then started to upgrade and set it at the clients. It worked fine for 5 out of 6 client radios, but the 6th one died after putting in the...
