Upgraded RB532 from 5.25 my IP pool got lost, I'm not able to create a new one and 'ip-pool' is causing 100% cpu usage:

Re: v6.0 released

It would be great if the order of items in the left panel in WebFig was be the same as in Winbox (for example IPv6 in WebFig is now below Log).

Thank you

Find problem in 3.27

Hi, I ran into a non-working action parameter in find command in 3.27 while getting one of my old scripts to work in a new version. Please tell me if it's a bug or a feature not supported anymore. Thank you! [user@router] > /ip firewall mangle add chain=forward action=accept [user@router] > :put [/i...

Shaping 100mb for 1000users

Hi, we're looking for hardware capable of shaping around 100mbps between 1000 users, mangle + queue tree. Do you have experience with such setup?
Thanks!

Hello, I'm looking for help with the following problem: I have people connected to wireless aps, some of them use a dhcp server for their local network (usually bridged home aps). Now, I can have my database automatically update the version and hostname of my Mikrotiks! I run this script with cron each day. I use the database both as a glorified inventory spreadsheet, and to feed other scripts such as one that makes mrtg config files. # more db.update.mt #!/bin/bash MYCMD="m...

while I'm on the topic, how can the "upgradable-till" oid be converted from hex to text. I am basically looking for a human readable text date with year/month/day or similar. MT version

My SNMP wishes... read access: * MT version. There is no excuse for not having that now. I have a database to keep track of my MTs, and use SNMP to keep some of the fields updated. We do this with lots of other hardware. I don't have a way to easily determine the version in the MT. i use this oid t...

Traffic shaping in 2.9.17?

Hey guys,
does traffic shaping work correctly for those of you who have upgraded your routers to the lastest?
It "magically" stoped working correctly on routers we have upgraded. Users with 256k downloading at 3.5m with "no traffic" on the queue etc.
Anyone else noticed?

Thanks,
Michal

2.9.14 snmp

hello, I have a selfwritten tool for graphing stuff on mikrotik routers. After upgrade to 2.9.14 large gaps started to appear in the cpu graphs. I believe this is a routeros issue or some kind of change since it appears on all the machines that have been upgraded and it started just after the upgrad...

Reading mac address from wireless regtable

Hello, I'm working on a snmp web interface including mikrotik related stuff. Currently been working with wireless registration table and it seems I'm unable to fetch a mac adress for a registered station, at least after snmpwalking the oid tree. It means I'm able to create a table of registered clie...

So this really is a mikrotik issue. I hope we will see some progress from
the developers soon, we do need the ospf to be functional.
Thanks a lot for the script eflanery.
Best Regards,
Michal.

OSPF trouble

Hello folks, I've been experiencing some problems with OSPF. Almost every time something gets changed or removed (ip/ospf entry change, router id change), the router loses its routes and it's unable to reload them, the only thing that helps is a reboot. Unfortunately, recently with some new routers ...

Routerboard 500 and upgrades

Hello,

I have a RouterBoard500 with beta16 version of MikroTik. Is it possible to download newer beta versions for this board or if not when are the ugrades planned to be released?

Thanks,
Michal.
