Re: CRS326, CRS312, How do i setup DSCP for use with Dante?

Thank you for all hints and tips. I see, by using one bridge you can utilize the hardware offloading. Using two or more bridges disables that So, for an example. Switch with 16 ports, Port 1-8 Dante ports on vlan 123 and Port 9-16 on vlan 456, where port 16 also is an uplink port to the site switch ...

Re: CRS326, CRS312, How do i setup DSCP for use with Dante?

Time has passed and RouterOS has been developing. Now 7.15 and newer supports DSCP QoS prioritization etc. I've been reading the documentation for that and the guide is based on that you have the switch default configured with all ports switched in a bridge. https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/spaces/ROS...

Okey, thank you! How secure/insecure is it to use this? Are there any ways you can secure SNMP when using SwOS? For CRS switches and such i know you can add specific users and restrict rights etc for a specific snmp user, only for specific MAC addresses, ipnumbers/subnets.. etc. I know SNMP can be a...

Re: SFP transceivers to connect L009 & RB5009

2.5G RJ5 SFP does not exist on MikroTiks hardware site. S+RJ10 does not work with auto negotiation off and forced 2.5G speed in L009 SFP port. I’ve tried and this router did not like it. The result was that link kept connecting and disconnecting.. in a loop. Without anything connected. No changes wh...

Re: Hardware to run Dude server

The documentation has an outdated table with tested MicroSD cards. What are the tested and/or recommended cards? I know the industrial ones are highly recommended but quite expensive even the smaller ones. How big cards do you need? My plan is to only monitor like 4-5 Mikrotik routers/switches in a ...

2.5 gig RJ45 SFP for L009 router

Looking for a 2.5gig SFP for my new L009 router. I can only find 10gig and 1gig. The rj10 will produce too much heat for a 2.5gig fixed speed In the documentation for the router it says that 2.5gig SFPs has been tested. So i wonder.. what are those? Or do i have to buy a 3rd party brand? My goal is ...

RB5009 does not support QoS.
RB5009 can only do Queues. Limiting traffic speed and such

You need the CRS series for that.

You might have heating issues when using two S+RJ10 next to each other. They should not be placed like that.
There must be one empty between them. Or place one on each group of ports.

Please read more about this in the S+RJ10 documentation.
