Re: Slow download speeds CCR1072

Hi, At our CCR1072 end we have untagged VLAN given to us by the MPLS provider(Multiple Untagged VLAN for multiple remote locations). We notice some packet loss on these links. Here is the packet capture of the 2 packets (one where the reply was received and one where the reply was not received). 3 1...

I am a noob when it comes to sniffing packets. However the strangest part is as follows. 1. Speedtests from speedtest.net are throttled (non peering traffic) 2. Tests from fast.com are throttled again (we are peering with netflix) 3. Tests from nperf.com are not throttles and gives perfect tests. (n...

Re: Slow download speeds CCR1072

Hi,

We suspected Vodafone MPLS so got another MPLS link from a separate provider. The issue is same with second MPLS provider too.
Not losing any packets at either ends. No tx or rx error on the interfaces either.

CCR1009(6.44.3) --MPLS(Vodafone)--CCR1072(6.44.3) (at datacenter)--Internet(two uplinks)+peering The clients are behind CCR1009. Interfaces between CCR1009 and CCR1072 and toward...

Re: IP Accounting Opinions

You could add a filter rule to accept connection from specific IP (src or dst) and make a api call to router to get information on bytes transferred. Just a thought.

Re: Layer 7 Regex for Bank websites

Figured out that its not easy to check for EV certificates. Right now logging web-proxy requests and checking the logs for bank related urls. BTW: The solution was for online payments for hotspots.

Contention ratio using using queue

I just want to have contention ratio of 1:4 for users in A category and 1:6 for B category. I think it can be done using queue but question is as follows.
Can users in category A share the unusable bandwidth of category B and vice versa?
if yes how to configure it?
The uplink we have is 10MB

Re: Policy based routing using two uplinks

Thanks for the reply.... My confusion is this that I want to use lets say 192.168.100.x to go through uplink 1 and everything else should go via uplink 2.... Everything else here includes all private IP ranges except 192.168.100.x.... Shouldn't there be anything like wildcard mask.... We have like 2...
