Re: rebooting for (cause 1)

Yeah I'm getting the same thing here and I am using EoIP tunnels as well...

3.11 loader
Just upgraded the Firmware version to 2.16 of 2.16

If this keeps happening I'm gunna try turning off the tunnel, see if that makes a difference

Re: Client Connection issues on 3.x

I think that version 3 reports signal levels more accurately than 2.9... I thought this might be the case, but it doesn't explain why LS5s on our network visably get worse since the upgrade of firmware. That is ping log data, not signal data. If it was just a reporting differential there should hav...

Re: Client Connection issues on 3.x

I've already opened one, but feel free to open one as well. Maybe enough tickets will flag them to an issue. From my ticket I've gotten suggestions like "Disable Connection Tracking" (been that way since we installed our equipment) And to manually set transmit rates to lower bit rates if t...

Re: Client Connection issues on 3.x

Just got a support ticket back from Ubiquiti (as the RBs on the network actually have marginally improved with the new 3.10 firmware). They use 2.9.51 firmware in their test environments so they are unaware of any issues in compatibility to v3.* They said they didn't really like the 3.* up to this p...

Re: Safe to update RB532A remotely to 3.x?

but be aware that a remote downgrade from 3.x to 2.9.x will result in loss of wireless config. that was at least my experience. regards Jan That's true. But if you upgrade the bootloader before upgrading to 3.10 the upgrade seems to go smoothly (add the file into the 'Files' menu, then do a system>...

Re: Various Routerboards with 3.10 kernel failure.

I believe if you upgrade the boot loader for RB100/RB500 series boards before updating the firmware to 3.10 it works effectively. I was having the same issue and this resolved it. The file can be found here: http://www.routerboard.com/files/rb-2.16/rc32434-2.16.fwf Put it in your 'Files' area. Then ...

Re: 3.10 is out

Via other threads I found that by updating the boot loader to 2.16 for RB500 series boards, that 3.10 goes on smoothly.

Is there a bootloader update for the RB400 series boards?

Re: What are you going to replace now?

The rb411 is alive and well. It is positioned at the low price end of the RB400 line and replaces the rb133c.

Tom
I was shocked at the price for the specs of the board. Very excited about the 411 and deploying it on the network :)

Re: Client Connection issues on 3.x

Same issue here. Found it last Thursday when I did a network wide update to 3.9 (3.10 seems to crash the BIOS on me randomly, but that's another story). Here is a log of the different client CPEs we have on the network and what happened after the upgrade to the AP (indicated by the blue line). From ...

Re: 3.10 is out

Hmmm I went into the boot setup menu I reselected "boot from NAND and then ethernet" (which is was already on and I believe is the default setting) and turned on NetInstall. I got far enough to load 3.6 firmware back onto the board (which runs smoothly). Upgrading to 3.9 right now, and if ...

Also interested. The only way I know how to do it now is with Queues, and short of making either 1 general one or 4000, no clue.

Re: Need VLAN help

I would also be interested in your configs, as I'm currently trying to do something similar to your original setup. I am having nothing but trouble trying to run multiple VLANs across the same interface and I think using Q-in-Q will solve that.
