WiFi networks are too big to have all the available devices all bridged to the LAN.

CCR1009 as CAPsMAN and local forwarding off.. CCR1009 has the horsepower to "catch" all those tunnels. I think this is where things are falling off. I haven't tried pinning the ports to 100MBit/full on BOTH sides - should have given that a try. I just tried the CRS side.

I haven't seen failures after reboot as a pattern but I will start to look for that.

Yeah, I tested with a virgin Hotspot server (ie one I just created with a spare MT) and it does work!? I did not clear cookies on my iPhone. Uhmmph... I actually tried to upgrade to 3.4.

I found that Web Proxy broke after the upgrade. The box seemed somewhat unstable after the upgrade but I didn't test it for too long.

Is there a trick to getting Web Proxy working on 3.4? The box had a problem creating the file and/or starting the service.

Does ECMP work with Hotspot?

I am trying to get 4 PPPoE modems working with ECMP through Hotspot. When I enable Hotspot with all 4 modems connected via ECMP and no traffic goes through Hotspot. So do you find that the ECMP implementation is fast? In fact these Actiontec will put the public IP on the VLAN interface like you say, and I did get it working on ver 3.4 however the hotspot and webproxy both broke when I upgraded to 3.4. They are Actiontec modems. They work as far as I am concerned. I just wanted to know how you are using the connection they provide. I am trying to build a big pipe out of 4 of these pppoe connections to serve a campus network. Getting them all to act as one gateway is giving me problems. I just was ...

I tried your suggestion I wanted to let you know it worked perfectly - the FIRST TIME!

Now I need to go back and fix load balancing while also using the Web proxy feature.
