Router OS 6.40.2

user manager with rate limits cannot login;
error message: failed to add queue: parent hs-<hotspot1> is dynamic

If the dynamic hotspot queue is deleted the users can login.

tried with ROS 5, everything working fine.

same problem.

I have an RB750 with all-default configuration (MT was hard reset)

Just configured interface addresses, DNS, DHCP, SNTP, Route. All other config are default (firewall)

MT is connected to a 30/30 MBPS symetrical line. Download is only 20mbps and upload 3 ~ 5 mbps only.

make a script to check expired accounts and if found delete user. I run my script on scheduler every 12:00 mn.

I am happy with my standalone MT router and my standalone Asterisk with X100 cards.

If anybody can make them work on the same machine, I would be very happy to try it too.

I dont think mixing them is a great idea though (maybe to much CPU load). Good Luck guys!

in the configuration, the LAN (wired) should be under the AP (wireless). Both of them connected to a port on the unmanaged switch.

I ve got my web-proxy working now. Its my firewall thats blocking in comming packets to MT. ( last line on my input firewall - drop and log everything else). i've added an accept rule before it to accept traffice to dst-port 8080.

If you have set up you hotspot right, then you should not any problems using the uptime-limit checkbox. If you would like them to be disconnected if they are not doiung anything then activate ide-timeout too.

try to put an idle time limit to hotspot connections. Hotspot will deacticvate a user after a pre defined time of inactivity (no traffic). Set the idle time out not too short that it would cause users to disconnect just sipping from a cup of coffee (1 to 2 mins. works for me)

I have been testing Hotspot Manager for a few days now and I have noticed that the time clock is advanced by 1 hr.
