That policy was removed in ROS 7.6.

You don't need it, just try to set full admin credentials and check the result.

Just a point to the Feature request - Sending Reports.
In that topic you can also find some (existing) variables which can be used to show device uptime.

Not sure if we can generate reports in any way using Dude or via ROS API.

WinBox can be run on M3 via CrossOver (24.04 - latest for today), but after some time, it just stop to react to any clicks. You have to close it, or even CrossOver, and start again, which is very inconvenient.
Maybe some special CrossOver setting?

But in general, it is better than nothing.

Dude v6/v7 uses WinBox port which is 8291 by default - Manual:The Dude v6/First use.

If you like to change it, you would need to use a non standard port for WinBox.

Did you try to restore backup on another device to check how restore is working and if all the information is in-pace?

You can try to install a CHR on VM and restore DB.

There are some notes about restore in the Dude v6 - Backup locally.

Another solution for those that need to regularly swap SIM cards could come from esim.me :)

Thanks, we've successfully tested that eSIM/SIM with a Chateau 5G ax.

It would be very suitable to have a native support of the eSIM in Mikrotik devices :)

With CHR you do not pay for a device and rather for a license, but it probably adds some overhead for Mikrotik, at least to handle these licences and ROS support.

If you have a lab with 5 CHR it is ~ 200$ for just some testing/learning, but yeah there can be different points of view on that.

We have 2 VM's and both with 40GB disks.

On x86 CHR show 37.9GiB, on arm64 CHR show 9.0GiB - shouldn't they show same value in both cases?

Same question - Zerotier packages for CHR x86.

We already have a way to use CHR on ARM, but it is not available yet on AWS.
We would need more wide spread of the CHR ARM or Zerotier on x86 may cover more cloud platforms.

ax^3 works fine, single disconnections I see in the logs is related to the device which is the 5 floors away and signal is -86/-90 - so, it is expected.
Ax3, ax2, ax lite ... no issues here. Nada.

Works for me as well, but I almost forgot that ROS is payed software - we need CHR for ARM :)

With CHR using x86 emulation we can play for free and boot time is similar to that ARM.

As I remember we have Delay just for Notifications - Manual:The Dude v6/Notifications.
Can't find something similar for Polling or special settings for that.

Note: For models with 16MB on-board storage use of USB/μSD storage is required to run The Dude server on the device.

Your device is cAP ac and have only 16MB of storage and looks like it doesn't have any options to extend the storage, like MicroSD slot or USB port.

We changed Channel Width to the 2.4GHz - 20/40GHz Ce and 5GHZ - 20/40/80MHz Ceee.

For 5GHz clients ping is now more stable in case of the traffic/speed test.

Yes, it should work with TCP too.

From he other side it works with:
- Active Directory authentication
- Certificate authentication

Home RB951G-2HnD with simple setup was upgraded to 6.41 from 6.40.5.
Bridge1 was created. DHCP server moved to created bridge1. Firmware was upgraded manually to the 6.41 with additional reboot.

At the moment, we also send all Dude v6 logs to remote syslog server where we have separate display for them and colorise them with corresponding rules.

elcapo123, By default devices state is the following: up --> unstable --> down Default Dude setting is such that, if device went down it will be red on the map. I have contacted Mikrotik support about this. Their reply was that they have plans to improve syslog, but how and when I don't know.

As I see in your stunnel.conf, your log is enabled. Please verify that stunnel working and if yes, can you look in its log file.

This solution working using stunnel for secure connection and it receiving connection from the blat and then connect to the gmail.

I just verified if it working:
1. Start --> Run --> cmd --> Enter
2. "c:\Program Files (x86)\Dude\mailsend\mailsend.cmd" "Test Subject" "Test Body"

And all works.

Also added Troubleshooting section in instruction.

1. You should download mailsend1.18.exe.zip
2. Extract mailsend1.18.exe
3. Rename mailsend1.18.exe to mailsend.exe
