Re: More than one PPTP client from same IP

Hi again ; Well be logic your MT2 is like a web site on the internet . as we said before that in your MT1 there will be two interfaces : ether1 -> to the wan . ether2 -> to the local network . and also we said that you are going to add a pptp client server to ether1 and provide it with the informati...

For sure you can do it. I prefer Cacti. You can configure a Centos Server with Cacti and there are also nice templates for RouterOS. Hi ; Thanks for your reply . Kindly could you give us details about this centos server with Cacti ? do i have to install them in MikroTik or in another pc ? waiting y...

Re: Graph Packets Per Second

Is there a way to graph packets per second using SNMP? Hi ; I think this is impossible for many reasons like that it will consume the cpu and the routers resources and you don't need a graph for each second . you could open the graph of any interface or client , it will show you a live graph and if...

Thanks ahmedsaffar, But let me give you more details about this we have a MT router supporting the pptp as a server, and we connect to that MT using the PPTP client installed on Win XP, and we don't have any problems if the connection, no matter how many, are from different IPs. let's say i'm in IP...

Re: More than one PPTP client from same IP

Hi ; I think you should use a router supporting the pptp , so you counfigure it's wan port with the ip , username & password and the server ip which this router will connect to . you also could make a MT OS work in the same way when you configure a pptp client with the interface will be connected to...

Re: more than two dns ip

My bad. I see what you want to do now. You would like your dns server to load balance for you. That is not a function of the primary-dns or secondary-dns settings. You would want those to be the same if you expect the dns server to load balance for you. I believe that would be a function handled in...

Re: more than two dns ip

I am not sure why you need "both of them"? It only sends requests to the primary DNS server unless it is not available. Only then will it go on to the secondary. If you need to issue different DNS servers to your clients, and you are using DHCP, you can reassign those with the DHCP settings under "...
