Hi guys, I have an array of routers doing OSPF among them. Unfortunately from the main Router to one of the secondary OSPF routers (connected via 2 wirelesss links) I have congestion in only one link (or actually links with many hops). how to tag BGP peer prefixes and forward only those to another peer?

Hi guys,
I have some BGP peers and some of those aren't IP transit but a local IXP, I would like to know how can I "tag" the prefixes and advertise only those prefixes (the ones from a specific BGP peer) to another BGP peer? Is bgp communities the right way to do this?

Thanks,

IP Pool and DHCP public IP address?

Hello guys, I've a Cable Internet connection and my ISP offers me 5 public IP addresses, but the IPs are offered by DHCP and they're not 100% fixed IP (because they change if I don't use it for more than 3 days). The problem is that the mac is associated to a MAC address, and when I try to add other...

Re: 2connections, one only for download?

Resize a connection (4096/512Kbps) to a 512Kbps/512Kbps for a server in the network, and use the residuary (download speed) to add this bandwidth to the ADSL connection??
Is more clear my question??

Thank you. I thought that if I use separate VLAN I can increase security (of the voice) and allow a better sound.

2connections, one only for download?

Hello:
I've 2 internet connections, one Cable (4Mbps/512Kbps) and another ADSL (1Mbps/512Kbps, but with dynamic IP).
Can I do these configuration
-use 512K/512K of the cable for Server1
-use the ADSL for NAT and add only the download speed (3.5Mbps) of the Cable, not using the cable upload?

Thanks

The IP address is based on the MAC address. Is possible to create a virtual NIC adapter (in the same NIC card)?
