Does anyone have a tip where to make a drain hole so that the PCB is not flooded? Losing warranty is less of a problem than dealing with a flooded CubePRO all the time

@mikrotik do you have any plans to release a new revision that will have a drain hole? Thanks

I would rather be interested in why Mikrotik canceled the drain holes? The best insulation is a hole . Yes, we also have water problems. Both CubePRO and CubeSA have problems. Unfortunately, it does not flow there through a grommet, but through poor-quality gluing. Re: Should MikroTik make more powerful antennas and wireless protocols in 2019?

The basic problem is that we use the old RouterOS V6 from 2013. Based on the old kernel 3.3.5 :(
With that is not possible to do miracles in 2019

Re: v6.43.8 [stable] is released!

Thank you very much for this present!
Now if I have a country set I can only use regulatory domain and default scanlist, a real pain in the a*s.
That should be in changelog!
That is true

Re: v6.44beta [testing] is released!

I know this document. What exactly is wrong?
outdoor is exactly 5470MHz-5725MHz not 5500MHz-5700MHz mentioned by you in older posts .. indoor exactly 5150MHz-5350MHz not 5180MHz-5320MHz mentioned by you.
Yes it is 5470-5725Mhz , but it is commonly referred to as I wrote. (fully channels)

Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

I have partially to correct myself: the last firmware still miss the slot but now it works a little bit better but 30% slower than old AC hardware
And that's the progress :) New AC - worse than old

Re: v6.44beta [testing] is released!

First of all, this is a BETA release which should not be used anywhere near production. Yes, I known. I tested it on non production part of network. We have made a new setting for one of the next BETA releases, that will honour the "indoor/outdoor" parameter in the country-info list, and ...

Re: v6.44beta [testing] is released!

What do you mean by that? With scan list you will only reduce number of frequencies. After an upgrade your list will use all frequencies that are available in your country. From previous version point of view, nothing has been changed related to scan list or indoor/outdoor solutions. Indoor/outdoor...

Re: v6.44beta [testing] is released!

Did you try Scanlist 5470-5720 ??? I know the scan list will solve it. But would you think that this line: *) wireless - fixed compliance with EU regulatory domain rules; means you need to create a scan list before upgrading RouterOS to 6.44? I find it unclear and it cause a number of problems.... ...

Re: v6.44beta [testing] is released!

Honzam This frequency is not legal in our country. And this problem is due to simple upgrade RouterOS :(:( We use official sources for frequencies allowed in each country. Are you sure you are correct on this one? We use information from Qualcomm chip and European Union. Does not respect outdoor / ...

Re: v6.44beta [testing] is released!

If you have set EU country under wireless configuration, but you did not use regulatory-domain, then configuration will be changed to fit these requirements. Otherwise you violate the law. So if you are legal, then everything will work just fine after an upgrade ;) It is not good. Have you been thi...
