Re: about routing hotspot users to another interface

You need to do policy routing, marking the Hotspot packets to go out via a different gateway. You didn't post many details, so the below assumes that the pptp-out interface has an interface IP address of 1.1.1.2/30 and the other side is 1.1.1.1/30 (so 1.1.1.1 is the gateway for that network). It al...

No. What I'm saying is the 54mb customer takes about 1 second to download 28mbit. The 6mb customer takes about 4.5 seconds to download the same data, and the system will slow down during that time period. Assuming you have the bandwidth to support them, the 6mb customers will cause the 54mb custome...

If the 6/6 person is moving data, they'll take up more air time and slow down everyone else. If they're not, they won't really affect the system.

Hi, when I limit a PPPoE User in 'secrets' part. I make it 51200 but user disconnects 2-3 seconds later he connected to PPPoE. My question Is how can I set a connection speed limit to every person and make it like 512 kbps?

Hi, I think rp-sma is better because you may use longest pigtail or shortest pigtail, its up to you, plus if the card has high powered, ufl or mmcx will make lots of heat.
So if you choose rp-sma
We'll have able to use less loss.

You need an R52, no H, I probably won't complain about the antenna too much, however, I'd drop it to a smaller panel antenna, something like a 18-20dBi. You'll still have to drop TX power to almost nothing.

Re: 802.11n when?

n is something like N-Stream in mikrotik.
It uses 3 different channels 1,6,13 or 11 and bonds those 3 connections which is approx. 108 or 125 mbps.
So you'll have to use 3 antennas on your system.
On the other hand you may buy 3x R52H and 433 or 600 and make n-stream.

it is not pointing the floor.
It is up to you. If you want you may point it to the air.
Pointing floor means: You have a long tower or your antennas staying long place and your customers will be lower place than your antenna. So you are turning your antenna to your customer's house's roof.
