Hi,
I don't know what it is but with old ROS 3.13 hotspot server when has to authenticate user by an external radius server doesn't block the MT box.
Different behavior with ROS 3.22/3.23

client can ping and browse internet using ip address but not name like www.google.it.

Hi, it works tnx. But other problem occurred. I want hotspot uses radius for authentication and to obtain ip address. When I put username and password then my pppoe concentrator and hotspot stop to work and I have to reboot it! I checked radius log and I found auth ok and the number of the port is 2...

Hi,
i changed ros but no configuration and now it doesn' t work more

My system is:

CLIENT
eth1 rb433 : 192.168.0.1
wlan1 in station pseudobridge.
pppoe-client interface is wlan1

SERVER
wlan1 in rb433 in ap-bridge
pppoe-server interface is wlan1
eth1 : 192.168.1.1


Any suggestion?

Hi,
i configured a RB433 with ROS 3.15 as pppoe-client and all was OK.
I uograded it to 3.22 but now it doesn't work more!

As I can downgrade to 3.22?

I have the same problem.

Is this problem because we need this configuration
add chain=hotspot protocol=tcp dst-port=80 hotspot=local-dst action=redirect to-ports=64873

?

Why redirect command doesn't exist as action?

I need to configure a routeros cpe (RB411 and R52) that associate to an access point,
has to be a client pppoe and masquerade the ip lan.

I configured it as said before.

I created a bridge named bridge1;
added interf eth1 and Wlan1 to bridge1;
configured int wlan1 in station pseudobridge clone mode;
then I created an int ppoe-client and associated it to the bridge1 interface.

Hi,

i tested my link using bw test.
I did the following tcp protocol test:
Only RX:22Mbps

Only TX:22Mbps

Both
TX:8Mbps
RX:18Mbps

I can't understand why in both modality the values are so different!

Looking for RouterOS 3.1

Hi,

i installed RouterOS 3.10 on a VPN concentrator but it doesn't work.
I have regular expressions to mangle the packets and queue trees but with this RoutertOS version this system doesn't work.
How could I have 3.1 version of the RouterOS?

Hi,

updated RB411 to version 3.9 and now cpe doesn't start more: Kernel not found
Used hyperterminal to upgrade again but the following messages appeared

file transfer ok
invalid upgrade file id

What can I do?
