dhcp relay and add-arp=yes

I have a DHCP relay for some of my clients. They were not able to communicate after getting an IP address. I found the MT was adding the MAC of the relay to the ARP table instead of the client's MAC address. However, the DHCP table had the correct MAC. Is this working as intended or a bug. I would l...

Thank you SurferTim.

Seriously, there is no documentation on where, topics, or include?

Can we get some. I'd be happy to write some, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks,

How do I filter n just the one word instead of trying to print all of the permutations with system? system, info system, error, critical system, info, account And it's not really just for system. sergejs, Thanks for the response. I've read the User Manager wiki and it was a little confusing and I didn't see how a user could create their own account. I assume you are using arp=reply-only on your interface. Can you check MT arp table to see if the arp entry is there? Can you check the leases and see the lease? Is it possible there is another DHCP server handing out IPs?

I had the same issue. I had to disable web caching to get the hotspot walled garden working. What port are you using for web cache? I think the hotspot does something on 8080. Not sure how it all works yet. Still trying to figure it out.

The example at the bottom is a range, but you should be able to do i for each IP.

I had the same problem when I tried multiple gateways when I switched ISPs. I just disabled the ECMP routing to the old ISP. However, I did read in the wiki about some connection issues like this and there seemed to be a solution. I wasn't able to implement it or test it though.

To drop all packets coming to your router from that address: /ip firewall filter add chain=input src-address=163.121.94.2 action=drop However, that perso can just change their IP and try again from a new IP. As far as I know there is no way to force a client to renew their IP address from the server. You can set the lease time to a shorter time, but 1 sec is too short since the client tries to renew at 1/2 the lease time then like 3/4 or 7/8 of the lease time which needless to say will create a lot of t...

After you log in. Go to system on the left and click the Change password link. Or, serial/telnet/ssh into the router and type /password and press enter.
