Re: DNS timeout when using router's DNS

@ConnyMercier: Thank you for supporting me! I'm very new to routers in general and this device in particular (2 month). Find the export attached. I replaced all secrets and identifier. The default configuration is tagged by "defconf". Additionally, I also added a network for containers (ve...

DNS timeout when using router's DNS

Hi, I have a L009UiGS and use RouterOS 7.16.2. I want to add a new isolated network for my smart-home gadgets. One reason is because I have an inverter and an EV-wallbox in garage connected to the router via ethernet port (ether2) and I don't want anyone can access private stuff (e.g. NAS) by simply...

Name resolve in container gives timeout

Hi, me again. I can not manage to get name resolution work within containers. There is a dns property which is not explained in documentation: https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/spaces/ROS/pages/84901929/Container#Container-Properties. Re: File upload slow and choppy

Using scp is faster and more reliable:
scp myfile admin@192.168.88.1:/usb2/target-dir
But also only about 200kB/s.

I saw that also SMB can be activated for USB drives but I didn't manage to get it work.

File upload slow and choppy

I use WinBox for MacOS. Uploading files to the router is choppy and slow. I attached a video which shows the effect (it is zipped because no video content types are allowed). However, using Webfig upload is quite fast. Unfortunately, Webfig only supports uploading into internal storage which is limi...

Nginx Proxy Manager on L009UiGS

Hi, I use a MikroTik L009UiGS (arm architecture, RouterOS 7.16.2) as a router at home. I want to run nginx proxy manager on my router to forward trafik to internal services and for https termination. After some research I got it installed but it is not able to start and no log is shown. So, I have n...
