Interesting, I didnt know that, but could this be done by SW or is it HW related limitation? If its SW maybee Mikrotik could build this in OS. Otherwise you have to cut power to the box each time it hangs, in some cases this is not a problem but on remote sites its not really nice.

Thank you for help, I will go with 411U since it will be a small network behind. Now I need only some nice outdoor enclosure with integrated UMTS antenna.

Hi all, I want to setup 3G HSDPA+ outdoor router, only job of this box would be to connect to 3G network. I was thinking of using RB411U for this, and load it with miniPci-x 3G card. Later the same HW would be used for LTE miniPCI-x card. Would RB411U be sufficient for this job? Or is better to go w...

Hi,

I had quite a few problems also with supported 3G modems, the problem is becouse they have also drive with SW in them, switching the USB stick to modem only mode, and modems are working fine. Check on www for AT command for particular modem, how to switch it to modem only mode.

Hi,

Will this modem be supported in version 5? Itsh HSPA+ capable of 15Mbit transfer rate.

Currently its not recognized, if any info is neded or debug logs I can provide them.

Hi thanks for that...

192.168.0.X/24 > DST=0.0.0.0/0 Action=masquerade this make it working, I didnt have DST adress definet in NAT rule..

no luck :(. I will try to remove the bridge and configure NAT for only one interface.

BTW: I'm using stonegate client...if someone have experience with that.

ALIX 2C3 constant reboot v3.9

I upgraded my router to version 3.9 from 3.7, and it crashed after 2 days, now it constantly reboots every few minutes, does someone experiencing the same problem? I wish I keept the 3.7 files to downgrade.:)

did it..with ISO install in vmware, but no way to install with netinstall.
