I have tried this but this is wrong:

I have NBMA neighbours configued. I have about 50+ sites in the field and generally the OSPF does not drop.

However, I cannot log into each mikrotik every hour to double check that OSPF is operational on all of the 50+ links

LDP needs to be enabled over each hop to distribute labels relating to your network....you have no control over your providers network so you cannot "enable" ldp over your providers network for your private lan.

The tunnel setup should work, let me know how well it performs

It seems that in MPLS-Interface MTU leaving it to "all" causes issues, I set each interface manually to 1518 (for the vpls+pppoe) and it works perfectly now.

Hmmm so you saying that traffic needs to be limited at ingress....So there is absolutely no way that a MPLS router, that just acts a switching hop, can limit speeds for MPLS traffic? or give higher bandwidth to a specific tunnel?

I think the problem was they were pptp tunnelling over another pptp over a pppoe

So I removed both pptp tunnels and routed normally, will report back if it solves the issue

Turn off DHCP on one of the linksys. If both remote lan's get a lease then we know the EOIP tunnel is working and we can trouble shoot further

Also, do a traceroute from a 1.x pc to 2.x pc to make sure that the EOIP tunnel is used and not the pptp, might be a routing issue

All the VPLS tunnels can be bridged and a single PPPOE A/C setup on the bridge....
